Revelations
He stood there like a lamb
opening a Holy Seal
his shirt all undone
a firery burn in his eyes,
a man of sackcloth
standing beneath a blackened sun
as stars tumbled from the sky
and from his head a golden ray
illuminated the darkness all around.
From one hand came locusts
and from the other scorpions,
which began to cover the earth
and he mounted the Pale Horse
as the earth opened up revealing
great beasts with horns and talons
spitting crimson fire from ugly mouths.
He rode to the sea
making clouds of steam
with his cloak of souls
billowing, billowing,
but there there was no wind.
Rainbows appeared carrying ribbons of rain.
It was then
I realised
that
I sent my hatred,
my distress
to all four corners of this earth.
Made me realise
how wrong I was
about so so many things
I am so sorry
and apologise to all I have hurt
for
perfection nestles within imperfection
as my previous notions
of suicidal intent
have drifted away, now
wishing to dwell within
the golden hill of human kindness.
My lonliness makes me look
virtually young as I remember
Sweetness
the poetry of your teeth
mouth
The aromas of you around your
hair
face
ears
armpits
breasts
thighs
legs
feet.
