This should possibly be on the general board, but I am just about to post a new (to me) form of poetry and want you all to see the rules. I saw in The Independent today an article about a form of poetry that is apparently becoming very popular on the web, based on the fibonacci code, where the number of syllables in any line is the same as the sum of the previous two lines (ie 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34........) Obviously anything above 6 lines would be very difficult, so that is becoming the norm.
I have to a degree lost interest in writing poetry recently (I can only turn out so much worthless crap before I have to stop), but this did inspire me to have a go..albeit only based on some other poems I have written in the past.
I'm not sure of the rules regarding titles etc, so I will give mine a proper title.
Hope you all have a go!
