Does a woman know what I’m thinking
when I look at her like this ?
Can she feel the thrill I feel
when our shoes touch
and she doesn’t pull away
under the table where no one can see ?
And when she plays with her hair
head cocked slightly to one side
her gaze deep, intense with mine
can she imagine, as I do, can she ?
Walking home is torture -
I’m allowed to touch her hand and
silent streets mock my restraint
but she likes to laugh so I
tell her things,
silly, funny things
anything to hear that sound again
I even sing for her and then
she does kiss me.
A choreography of tongues and lips and
I’m lost in her, my soul
trapped inside her throat,
she tastes divine.
Does a woman know what I’m thinking
when I hold her close like this ?
When my hands reach behind her
sliding down her slim waist
pressing her perk, firm ass harder
and harder against me
her thighs parting
to accomodate my knee
my mouth, devouring hers
does she know ?
Does she want ?
And need. As I do.
Does she ?
When numbers are exchanged
and promises made,
when the door is reluctantly closed
in my face and empty streets once more
are mine, will she regret ?
Will she lie for hours alone in her too big bed
without sleep, her flesh burning
with the memory of my touch
her hunger, that silent monster
she hides inside her unstilled ?
And will she hope ?
As I do.
Will she ?

What a fabulous touch of the writings I remember so clearly of yours, lb, you do this so well. Just enough...yet complete in it's questioning story format. First time meeting must be the most exciting of all, if only because we 'don't' always know the result, nicely lead through it here, Zed |

Thank you all for your kind comments. There are times when I think women can see through me like a pane of clear glass - other times they don't have the foggiest idea where I'm coming from...but hey....nothing new there huh ?....lol : )lb |
