Serpentined shadows Against the wall, Listening pillars Hear their sighs, As they dance a waltz In clothes Of yesteryear. . In reverse turn A dried and withered flower falls, And her hair Cascades loosely Into a bouquet Of silken auburn curls. . I fell in love As I watched them Smile, dance and...kiss. . Oh that, that were I Within her slender arms. Our eyes met And I smiled, But as I watched They slowly faded Into the shadows Of their home. . I moved to reach Out to my fantasy, But as I slowly moved Towards the wall, I heard the sound of Her dried, dead, flower Beneath my shoe. (c) ZYDHA HART 2004 . |

I like the movement I feel in this Zy....a hypnotic effect poem. By the way, forgot to tell you that Jorge would be delighted for you to add his web site on your links page...he will be going on another diving trip to Mexico at the end of this month so hopefully will have more lovely photos to add. Thamks Valerie, it started out for the Fantasy thread, but went into a more ghostly idea. OK, I will look into doing that...I tried to link Fluff's site, but it hasn't worked, so will check it out and find out exactly how to do it. The members will love it. Please thank Jorge for me, Valerie, I think it is really wonderful, Zydha x |
