Twilight shift begins again
blown in wind
and damp in rain.

Thoughts evolve and make known
time to reap
those seeds once sown.

My friend, the dark, encircles me
lighting lights
for me to see.

The harvest of a time gone by
and memories
of thee and I.

Thanks, Dix...perhaps deep, but was a quickie, an instant reflection which just popped out of my head, Zy

I am a city girl, Peter, lol and would get lost in a field!!! (certainly in a haystack, lol)

Just one of my analogies for 'the twilight hours when one has time to think, thanks, Zy x

Hy Tony, thanks, this was a bit of an experiment in the rhymimg pattern more than any real thought other than night-time does make 'reality thinking' clearer, Zy

I am a city girl but a country girl at heart.  Miss grandpa's farm in the summers.

Same here, Dix, I love the country, but have always lived in cities or certainly...towns. A small farm has always appealed, but only the nice clean bits, like gathering eggs, lol.

I can imagine nothing better for a child than to have memories like yours, Dix, hold on to them....special times, Zy

Hello Dear Zy

I too agree with Mikhail, there's a haunting beauty about this piece and I love it. Seems very mysterious to me, whether that was your intentions or not! lol.

Love as always, Fluff xx

Hy Fluff, didn't mean it to sound or read as mysterious, though it did just pop out of my head from a comment on harvesting, as a reflective kind of thought of life and night-time....but you know me, lol,

'abstact thinking' is my middle name, love, Zy x
