worlds ?seeing worlds
not as they seem
in faces - phantom graces
paces
from my heart
races ?far apart
i cry

it is my wanton
lack and need
keeps me lonely
eyes that bleed
a notion ?enchanting potion
for love

in all its stages

withered pages

i cry

as black-hewn flower
in closing hour
of living

like shapely spectre
thy mystically vector
RUSH
my me
though i cannot see

i feel
thee

feel thee
as
i cry

for worlds

it is late - too
best,
m

Mikhail, all of the worlds evils affect me too.  Children being killed, nations warring against nations, contaminated food, etc.  Why cannot we just love and help one another?  Destroying the nature of this planet too.  I cannot solve it so just try to be a friend, love others, and help others.  The children tear up my heart the most.

I couldnt agree more Mikhail, this is a piece which once more shows just how uniquely beautiful your style of writing is.  You have such an amazing way of capturing the reader within the feelings you express through your words and although every poet has a gift and we are all unique through what we write, I really do believe your way of writing is rare.  I have never read anything with such an unusal layout or use of words - but you make it work Mikhail and it adds so much to the impact your writing has on the reader.  As well as that, if I'm completely honest with you, before we had audio on this site, I found it very difficult to feel writing when it's being read out, but you really changed that - you read as brilliantly as you write.

Oh - and if you ever had a book published I would most definitely buy it!

Sorry for going on, lol but hell I feel better after getting aaaaaaaaall that off my chest!

You are a true inspiration and you have a good heart - that shines through your writing.

All the best, Fluff xx

Fluff thank you for saying what was in my heart too.  I would also buy a book of either of you.  I heard his poems in audio and he does speak them as well as they are written.  Truly a genius Mikhail.  Inspiration to heart and soul.  And how does that audio thingy work?

thank you yet again Dixie

as to the Audio - the farmer's version of Audio recording instructions go something like this:
1 - get a kitchen chair
2 - place chair immediately adjacent to your internet computer
3 - sign onto the internet
4 - sign on to bbcpoetrycorner
5 - get out yer poem for Audio recording
6 - practice speaking it a coupla times
7 - push 'new discussion'
8 = clear yer throat
9 - take a deeeeep breath
10 - hollar at the top o' yer lungs until the blasted 'puter records yer poem
11 - push 'send'

12 - if all else fails - repeat steps 1-11

LOL

now probably Zy can tell you how it is actually done - briefly - you make a .wav file of your work (no larger than 1Mb please) and 'attach' it to a posted message in Audio - remember - be patient after you push 'Attach' 'cause there is nothing to tell you that anything is happening - but suddenly - if the Gates gods are shinnin on ya - the file will magically attacht to the posting

please help me Zy if this is incorrect

grin,
m

What a lovely thread this is to pop into....

First, of course I don't mind, Stella, in fact...the link delighted me so, I have copied to Zydha's Home Page, thanks for introducing it to us, great man, great song.

and Dixie...Mikhail has more or less told you correctly, but being a man, lol, he has missed a couple of salient points, otherwise, well done and thanks, Mikhail.

Dix, most of us use Real Player. Within the Properties you will find the adjustments of khz, this can add to weight of wave file if too much. 11,000khz mono is good. Just click the buttons until you get there, you can record over each recording as many times as you like and once happy with it, save to hard drive. Bring back to the message box via the browser link and once you have clicked on it from your audio file, then Attach as Mikhail has described, but, lol, his other numerically listed directions ...are optional, but to ignore... may affect the quality of the recording!

Good luck, cos this is the recording fortnightly weekend event, Dix, so hope to hear something from you,  Zy

and Stella....

I know a man
whose Zen is so complete
that soundless breathing
deep relaxing and replete
transports his spirit
as the silent mantra seeks
to comprehend
despairing children
and their broken dreams

is soooo beautiful, and so appropriate, Zy

Thanks Mikhail and Zy lol.  Actually m's is more entertaining Zy!  lol.  He has a great sense of humor!  Our church saw a movie about genocide.  It was devastating.  It was "Hotel (spl?) Hwanda".  Sorry don't know how to spell it!  It was with Don Cheadle.  We also saw a film or documentary with a Jewish boy, British, Islamic, Afghanistani girl and they showed them hating each other and then meeting and becoming just regular children and playing.  It changed their whole perspective on things.  Then it showed them today.  I wish more children could meet like that and maybe the world would change.  Thanks to you both!

ah...er...mikhail I doubt I should holler and shout the poem.  I studied opera and have a big mouth lol.  You all would go deef!

Hy, I watched the second version, Stella, and I wish I hadn't, or that I should have stopped the tape before the tears started. It distresses me greatly to see children so, especially when one is so helpless to make a notable difference, but we can do what we can and hope that 'something' gets through.

The second addi on north Afrika is shocking, but not new to me, and follows a programme 'tonight' on our TV about the renewal of racism, cruelty, and slave labour within the blacks in the south. Zimbabwe borders and Johanesburg in particular tonight. An internal apartheid....they did not focus on the children of those filmed, they did not have to.

I say it so often, Stella, I have lived too long...I find it all so hard to accept that the powers who could help... are frequently the perpetrators, Zy
