The Butterfly ~ Bessie Gutmann

"Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.?BR>Nathaniel Hawthorne quotes

Nature Unfolding

The beauty of a butterfly
Fragile like the thoughts of you
How did you get this way
Did you start from seed so fine
Like this tiny heart of mine
Did you find your way
Stirred by the winds of fate
Searching for the honey dew
Planted upon a blossom's breast
With the color of thy painted wings
To this empty place I dwell
To brighten world of the mind
Leave traces of your embrace
Enchanting tales you weave
Love etched upon thy heart so fine
Those you love so well
So fly away butterfly.

?Maria Reed-Shore

Good job,Maria! Maria and Mariah both! Your message is crystal clear. If we seek the honey dew of a good life,we can assume the bright colours and attraction of the butterfly. Applause to Nathaniel Hawthorne too for his wise words, which certainly apply to you.
