I hear the silence,
can you?
It's stillness is almost
tangible to the touch.
Pensive, awaiting the
sounds which break
into one's thoughts,
into one's psyche.
This is the hour,
the nearness time of
all escaped dreams.
Tick, tock, go the
footsteps of time,
drip, drop, go the
tears in my eyes,
passing time,
passing life,
passing through.

silence at times can be over whelming
time can seem to stand still
and then you wake and find
so much has passed you by

you capture this so well Zy
