I sometimes wonder At things I have said Should I have been Lead or led? Have I been lying or laying I'm never sure Of words I'm saying Weather it's wind Or a clock to wind Wether its right Drives me out of my mind No matter I try Not to abuse each word But sometimes it is abuse that's heard Should a comma go here, An apostrophie there: I just write poetry; And don't really care..... |

It must be hard To be a bard, But not to know Which one should go Where, or there, Or even swear That one is right, It must be a plight A foreigners delight Val |

I know it is not fair, when English is a foreigner's dispair...to brandish here and there, commas everywhere ... I think that if you're kind, you wouldn't really mind. Get good out of a write, food for the mind. Cute verse Steve...I happen to feel the same way... Maria |

Might and mite. Site and sight. Words for me Are like fishing In the sea. Grammar is also Easy for me. A comma here, an apostrophe there. Help yourself, There's plenty to share. Bean and been. Son and sun I won't stop 'Till my work is done. |

It's "ence" and "ance" Which lead me a dance - Independence, deliverance. Is there a rule perchance? |

Durghh... is me where the 'i' or 'e' is... after a 'c'... for I never know where they should go but, I just let it flow. Enjoyed, Steve, and your thread compilation, Zy |

Truly enjoyed this mismatch of words, could be heard or really herd? Sometimes sit instead of sat, I just write poetry--so take that! Loved it Steve. |
