A glaze of frost across the earth
Glittering, glistening, gleaming.
Sunbeams and shadows stretch
Lazily.
The prints of some nocturnal visitor
Are etched in the ice.
Frozen flowerheads forever captured
In frosted lace.

You write this dismally bleak and cold season as one to be
both admired and enjoyed, Jayne,
excellent use of your descriptive pen, I enjoyed reading very much, Zy
