It's clear I feel better
The whistle
reminds me
of a side parted,
short sleeved Australian lad,
who capers to his daddies side.
Freckle face smiles as Roo
searches that soft pouch.
Unties complicated knots.
Plays the piano
Pulls out a grenade?.
Semi delirious is better.
The big fury tadpole
purrs over warmth.
Its tail undulates as It sits
on a hot plastic roof.
I watched it from below
the day Paul Newman died.

Your verse said so much Kayo...up to the end...

Paul Newman lived a full life...God bless him.

Well dunno Maria coz the first bit was about Skippy and I was feeling a tad rough on my sick sofa in the conservatory lol but thanks for reading and taking time..x I was rambling yer know LOL...xx

that whistle was just like the beginning of Skippy lol

and when I looked up the cat on the conservatory roof

well it reminded me of a giant tadpole!!!
