Have you ever heard of that?
The creature called The Buttercat?
When half asleep and near awake
glance towards the moonbeams,
for sure a second look you'll take
and wonder it's one of your dreams.
But ~ no, there is a tale to tell
of a cat one summer's day,
who observed a butterfly
and thought he'd like to play.
To reach the branches way up high
with ease instead of climbing,
he sprouted wings and then joined in
and we see him here ~ reclining.
The moral of this tale you see, is
don't wish too hard ~ or ~ it may be!
