The turkey crown is ordered
The tree is looking grand
A thick white coat is covering
All the roof tops and the land

 

The children have been frantic
Scraping up more snow
Trying to make a snowman
They want the best to show

 

A carrot we found for them
A tartan scarf to dress his neck
Some coal is harder to locate
So his buttons are high tec

 

We found some bits of lego
Mostly used as wheels
But Mr White won't bother
As they're not under his heels

 

Soon the Christmas service will
Be heralded by peeling bells
While grandad sits in his warm chair
Cracking walnuts from their shells

 

When their dinners have been eaten
And the parcels opened wide
We hope that all the children
Will be pleased with whats inside
