A Winter Coat
All the tall trees wept
Their leaves upon the ground
Seeming quite unwilling and upset
While undressing themselves to the sound
Of those fast approaching chills
But at last they are stripped
See them shiver and shake
That's the only sign of distress
That we ever see them make
Yes they creak and they groan
To harmonise with the moan
Of the wind as it squeezes past
But now it's winter again
And snows upon them at last
So they're dressed in white not in shame
