Warmth Floods
Oh such warmth floods into my chest
As I look to see the name I love best
Up on the screen when the message comes
The surge inside grows as I succumb
For some time past I had held back
The need for love was one I lacked
To trust again would take some time
There was no doubt the fault was mine
But now I find our growing trust
Born of honesty - a must
Allows me once again to feel
In some ways it's still quite unreal
Huggles help to make the bond
Over weeks we became quite fond
Small confessions of dreams we share
Tenderness that shows we care
Beyond the shallow ways of man
Looking forward can we make a plan
To bring the moments in our minds
Into real times, quite sublime......
