Gargoyle
He sits and watches, now alone
Symmetrical brother, a broken memory
On the church tower, frozen in stone
A medieval gargoyle, staring at me
Open mouthed vomiting rain
Clinging casually to the buttress
Face contorted as if in pain
Grotesquely expounding distress
Is it for his fallen brother he cries ?
Taken by times decay
Shedding tears for his demise
He sits and watches, alone, today
