No: It was a guided tour

not a fact finding mission

and the tour bus doesn’t do the ghettoes.

 

 

I never allowed her to see

the misery of my privacy.

She still knows nothing of it

and it simply has to stay that way.

 

 

Yes, of course she hurt me-

irreparably I would say-

But I protect her from the truth
