AUTUMN EYES
I see autumn shining in your eyes
and we gaze with
coffee smiles
as sunlight filters,
buzzing contentedly through
partial closed blinds.
Already the sallow shades
that kissed our bodies
fade into
just memories.
And taking the sepia tints
I place my hands
on glowing streets
where lovers take their time,
oblivious of
Monday rush.
We walk and talk
as our footsteps
tap a tune in time
and pavements are never hard
when stars shine at noon.
September kisses scented napes
and already nature
spreads her blush
and autumn sighs
not once,
but many times.
