I am not a reader because I usually fall asleep reading novels, but my sister threw me a book, and since last Sunday, I am up to the third book in a series of four, and soon to be a motion picture.  I don't know if you all wrote about Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, but I am totally addicted.  The book is writen by Stephenie Meyer, and all four appeared on the NY Times best seller list.

The movie trailer is below:

It is not your typical vampire book.  It is much more than that.  If you read it, lets discuss.

I'm totally embarrassed to say that I read very little since moving back to PA from Colorado. I use to love to read in bed to relax me, but since I've moved back here, I am exhausted by 8pm. I read my Bible and then I am in bed and just watch TV until I can't stay awake any longer.

I read a lot but haven't read any of those books. If they are really good though, I may have to try them out. I will have to look at Amazon and see if they have a boxed set of that series.

I use to be a heavy reader, get hooked on an author and read everything by them I could find now after two kids I go in spurts read 3-5 books here pick one up months later and read abunch again
I read all types of books when I was a kid it was historical romances yes I know....lol
Then one day I picked up Phantoms, by Dean Kootz (sci-fi) read it in one night with all the lights on and the radio in my bed freaked me out..But worth it.
Now its everything and anything, I just read a book called A Hangman's Story cant remember the author but it was all about government hush hush groups..Made me wonder if the government has these hush hush groups(which Im sure they do).
Anyways was really good read it in 2 days..

I will have to look up those books and see if  I can find little excerts of them..

Now that I dragged on Im always looking for something new so any suggestion other then those, please post...

There are exerpts on line.  My daughter looked it up, and read part of the first chapter in book one and decided that she wanted to read the book.

I'm an avid reader, and these may be ienteresting so I will have to look her up.  Right now I am reading the second book in the Nora Roberts Trilogy, it's called the Hollow, love it!!!  She has also wrote other Trilogy's about Vampires, demons, supernatural etc. but they all have a romantic twist.  Some of her books have become movies made for TV on Lifeline and she appears in each one in a cameo.  She also writes under the name of J.D. Robb, books about a futuristic female cop, those are pretty good too.

Rose, I just finished the HOllow. I am in love with this series, I already ordered the third book which is releasing in December.  She can be kind of predictable but she really can tell a story.

My favorite book was The Art of Racing in the Rain. It tells the story of a dog at the end of his life looking back on it's life . It really is a good book, very touching. It has become my fav book.
