I'm still around and I feel terrible that I've been 'out of it' for a whole month, I didn't mean to worry anyone! Half of it was good and half not-so-good! I'm so glad to see you all are still here and I still want to do a lot of catching up, as I haven't even read the last few weeks of posts from you. It took me a few days to get my password changed because I forgot it :-P We took our honeymoon the first couple weeks of September - that was the half that was good :) We saw almost all of the island of Sicily, it was just breathtaking in the countryside, and BUSY in the cities. So different from here, and such a wonderful time we had!
Then the time since then has been one day to the next... chris and I are both in school, so the days are busy. Mom is doing okay herself, but I'm sad to say that we've been dealing with my brother going back to using drugs again, and in turn causing so much tension and strain in my family... for what reason I couldn't tell you - I wish I knew! he's been staying with my mom for a while now, and it tears her apart to go through this again. I'm not sure if my dad ever mentioned Brian's history and what we all went through with him, but it was such a large part of our home life that it makes sense he would have shared it with his friends. I hope you don't mind hearing about it now either way! I just don't know what to about the stress that he causes my mom. I had a big argument with him just a few days ago, though my intention was to offer him help before things get any worse. *sigh* I'm sorry for the babbling on my first post in so long LOL! I know you three will understand and possibly have some words of wisdom for me :)
I'm sure you know, but it's been a whole year now since my dad's passing - we went to the veteran's cemetery yesterday where some of his ashes were buried,..it amazed me how time flies. Well, I am going now to start catching up on the last posts, and hoping to see all good stuff going on with you girls. Lots of love and be back soon :) love, sharon |

good evening Lady's sharon the weather sounds like yours is it's getting cold and most of my Flowers have gone as well .i have put some winter pansies in my hanging baskets to try and keep them going and i have filled the pots with bulbs for later on .the grass is cut for the last time this year so now all i have to do is try and keep the leafs down . i am like dee with my teeth lol well lack of them and i hate them so i only put them in when i have to .carol and dee i hope you both have a wonderful day .i know dee will as our boy is coming over for the day .i have done nothing today as my back is playing up so i am resting it .it dose feel a bit better than yesterday so keep your fingers Crossed ok i am going to get a drink yes sharon tea lol love and hugs to my best frends . |

| Hi there ladies - another cold one and rainy over here on top of it! Jenny hope your back is feeling better after resting it today, I think it was a smart idea to take it easy! I never knew when the best time to put bulbs in was, but it must be just before the frost? I'm much better with the vegetables as I said before lol :) Dee I hope you were able to start reading the posts by now - - strange that you can write one but not read any! It was the opposite for me a while back - I could come in and read, problem was when I hit "SEND" and everything just disappeared... Seems (*knock on wood*) that it's been acting okay for me so far, but hopefully I didn't speak too soon. Carol hope you had a great day today and are staying warm! I have a chill in my bones today, no matter how many layers I put on I can't get warm enough. Time to get under the covers soon, that should help! Good morning ladies, it's again great to see you all here! Sharon, to be able to read your posts I'm having to go through "What's new", it will let me read each individual post that way. I have to click on each new message as it comes up as an amnswer to the previous post! I've never had to do it that way before. But at least this way I can read you all, that's what matters!!! I like to know that each of you are doing all right, and that's the best way to keep up, right? LOL Go figure, I don't have a clue as to what's goiong on, just trying to go with the flow. I hope you all are getting to read mine, and it looks like so far, you are!
Well girls, I had my day with our "Nolan", LOL...He was a treasure as usual, I just love it when he is here! He's beginning to show signs of growing up, my baby is leaving and being replaced with a little man, LOL...He's still baby enough that he wants to "Hold You DeeDee!", which means he wants to be held and loved! I can live with that, as long as he needs me, it's all I want out of life!
Jenny, you guessed it all right, I did have my wonderful day, thank goodness I got through the day before getting sick. After we left our "Nolan" with his Mommy, I started getting a headache, and it gradually got worse until I was also sick at my tummy as well...I think it's sinus, but at one time I had to just go to bed to stay warm. No temperature, just chills, and of course the blooming headache! I think I'll live, but I hate a heaache! No way to escape it, it has to run it's course! I hope it'll ber gone tomorrow!
OK Ladies, I'm going to go, I miss your smiling post Carol, see! I didn't forget you Sweetie! LOL Hope you're doing all right too! I love you all lots and sending you warm hugs and good wishes for a new day! Nite nite for now, Dee... |

good afternoon all dee sweetheart i do hope you are feeling a lot better today we don't want you in pain now do we .i am a lot better today my back is a lot better . i got my t.e.m.s machine on and that helps a lot .i just might get out tomorrow for some fresh air . sharon and carol are you two ok as it sounds as if is as cold there as here .winter is coming in fast so please try and keep warm as i am .i don't seem to be having any problems with here i guess i am lucky . big warm hugs and a big kiss coming over the pond to you my Friends . |

Hi all.... Running over to mom's this evening, but I wanted to drop in and say 'hi'! Dee I'm also sending get well wishes to you, it's that time of year that stuff is going around especially the respiratory stuff - so stay in bed as long as you have to and stay warm and feel better! I'm sorry the messages have been so difficult for you, I have no idea why you'd have to do it that way but as you said, it works and that's all that matters lol!
Jenny and Carol I hope you had a great day today - yes Jenny definitely cold around here, yet at least the sun was shining today that does help, at least in my mind. We have one of those tens units too and boy does it work wonders if you have a sore muscle. My mom and chris both have bad backs and they share the one we have :) Glad you're feeling better. Well I'm going to take off in a few minutes to be in time for dinner - hugs and kisses back over to each of you!! love, sharon

Mornin' my favorite ladies! It's not your fault Sharon, that this site won't work right for me, don't you worry your pretty little head about it, oK? I am getting by, at least as I told you, I'm reading you all and that what counts, right??? Right!!! I'm happy enough!
I did feel better when I first got up this morning, but as the day worew on, I felt less and less better! By this evening, I wasn't hardly feeling as bad as I did yesterday, but still sicjk at my tummy some, just not right! You know how us women get once in awhile...I'll be OK in a day or two, don't you worry! OK??? Im a tough old bird, well, a semi-tough old bird anyway! LOL
Yes Jenny Darlin', I'm glad your back is better too! I knows what those old backs can be like, and I sure don't like to hear of anybody suffering with a bad one, that's for sure!! I hate it, it's the time of the year for more than sinuses isn't it?? Bad backs are rearing there ugly selves as well as sinus and allergies! I'm quite ready to lose it all, and I do mean all of it! LOL It can find somebody else to pick on, someplace far, far away! LOL I love you all lots and lots and send you big bunches of hugs...Nite nite for now, Dee... |

Hi girls, wow I didn't see that message, it's a good thing you did Jenny! I have not heard of Multiply but when you click on the link it just goes to another hosting site which you have to log in to just like this one. We could easily just start all over but I'm sad too because we most likely would lose all the old posts from the last three (or so) years, unless i can figure out a way to save them to a new board... I will certainly check out our options, thankfully we have time, and even if we don't decide to go with Multiply I'm sure we'll find another board that we like (that's also private!). Even Zoomshare might do, but like I said we have time and it will definitely be a decision between all of us!! :)
Hope you all had a great Friday - yep Carol I'm looking forward to that too (sleeping late!) LOL! We are taking one of our famous trips to PA to my aunt and uncle's 25th anniversary party - this is mom's sister. That's not until the evening though so I'm looking forward to a nice quiet day tomorrow. Well, and a little bit of laundry but that still counts as quiet. Hey Ladies, Good Lord Jenny, you're right, it is closing down isn't it? I would have never noticed that, but it is sure there! The only thing I hate about it is what Carol said about losing this site, the sitre that our Don set up for you all in the very beginning...That was before my time, but I was so proud when you all accepted me into your group! (Mind you, it wasn't easy at first for me though, giggle, giggle) I went and looked at that Multiple, well, looked at the quick tour anyway! It's probably the same as this, or maybe even better! Who knows? We won't until we try it out will we/ You all don't even hjave to ask me, I'm with you in anything you all decide, OK? Whatever you all think, go for it, just please let me know so I can go too! I don't want to be left behind, OK? LOL I love you guys! ( Really, I know you wouldn't, just kidding, I hope I am anyway!)
Glad to see all of posting here again today, it's a site for sore eyes I'll just tell ya! It's not everyday we all get here together, I love it!

good morning Lady's i just got back from town and there was a email from msn about the move .sharon you are the clever one among us so if you get it it explains what is happening .it looks as if it will not be to bad .so if you all think it's worth moving we can .it did say that you all should get the email .i will be happy to do what ever you all want .we can't loses our special place that our don set up for us .ok i am going to get a coffee as it was very cold out and wet .i will come back later .love and hugs .ps i can't remember what my password is lol for here . |

good morning girls! yep I'm here really early for me lol! Thanks Jenny I will have to check my hotmail email, I don't use it often, only to log on to the boards. I'll let you know - but I think we have the gist of it... thanks Dee for checking it out too, I have a good feeling that it will be an easy move. Just a little worried that we can't save the old posts, but I guess we do what we have to do! As long as we can stay together that is our main goal!! I hope you all are having a good start to the weekend. Our day like Jenny's is cold and soon to be wet outside... and we have to drive to PA in it, but again it's not snow so it could be worse. :) Carol I hope you enjoyed your sleep-in this morning - - I did but I wish it was a little later. Still got up around 8am but I guess that still counts as most days it's 6am (still dark out!) . Well I'm going to do a little cleaning up before getting ready to go, I may be back today but in case not, have a wonderful day and evening and stay warm and dry lol... lots of love! ~sharon~

Morning all! Yes, thank you, I am feeling OK, not in top form, but better than I was at least! LOL Well enough that I took on the challenge of keeping our "Little Man" this evening while his Mommy and Daddy had a Halloween Party at their house! Needless to say, Our Baby was a little darlin as always, he kept me in stitches half the time he was here, LOL...He says some of the sweetest and cutest things sometimes, I know already that I'm prejudiced and shamelessly so! LOL But I love that Little Guy with all my heart and soul, he came at just the right time to steal my heart and soul I guess! Whatever, he's my "Little Angel", even if in name only, lmao! Nuff said, right??
Jenny, Carol, and Sharon, again, it's wonderful to see all of us on here again in the same day isn't it? I don't think there's too much of anyone or anything that could come between us, someone new what they what they were doing when they brought us together...We make one heck of a team., don't we girls??? As I already told you all, I'm in it for the long haul, whatever you all want to do, I'm in, OK? The only thing that makes me even want to go with this Multiply thing is being able to move all of our posts we've already made, I'm not especially crazy about losing what we've shared together for so many years, present and past included, I don't think I need to say anymore, you all understand where I'm coming from don't you?
