“Interview”
JD: Last time on Endurance: Rhode Island the teams competed in another temple mission and Purple dominated. A fight broke out between the teams (shows everyone wrestling) but in the end Purple sent Green and Yellow. Yellow won at Temple and the Green Team was sent home (shows Green fading into fire). Today, the teams will battle it out for a piece and the power of the Samadhi. Who will show that they have the greatest Endurance?

20 Teens (shows two people hugging)
A new location (shows an aerial view of a beach)
More challenges (shows a team pulling a boat)
1 winner (shows a boy jumping up and down wildly)
Endurance: Rhode Island
Orange and Blue are in the girls’ cabin:
Gavin: I can’t believe that Green went home!
Layne: I can. I’m kind of glad, too. They did cause a lot of drama.
Jordin: “Green went home last night which sort of broke up the alliance thing. Blue and Orange may keep the alliance but for now we’re not sure.”
Purple is talking just outside of the boys’ cabin:
Jared: That fight that happened yesterday was crazy.
Samantha: I know right.
Jared: Maybe we should just forget about targeting Yellow.
Samantha looks at Jared but doesn’t say anything.
Yellow is spying on Purple:
Caser: When they let up, we’ll go after them.
Brittney: I thought you said that we weren’t going to cause any drama.
Casper: Yeah, but like you said, it’s too much fun.
Brittney: *Casper is half insane. I mean you just watch him and he always stares at Jared. What is his problem?*
Later:
JD: Hey guys, you in there?
Logan: Yeah. Hey JD.
JD: And then there were five. Now as you know, Green went home last night. It was very emotional, Yellow knows. Everyone was crying, hugging, very emotional. But they left a letter and Jackson, I’ll let you read it today.
Jackson: Awesome. Okay here it goes:
Dear Everyone,
Gosh, I can’t believe we actually have to go home. And I can’t believe that we lost against Yellow. You guys caused way too much drama and do not deserve to be there in OUR place. Purple, you had no right to send us. We hate you forever (shows Jared looking at Samantha with wide eyes and an open mouth). Red, we never really liked you either. You guys were too confident in your abilities and will not be winning this thing. Orange, Jordin and Gavin, you two were so sweet and we will love you always. That’s why you are getting our Perseverance piece. Blue, I love you guys so much. You were so peaceful and sweet and that’s why we are giving you our Luck piece. Use them well guys. Beat them all out!

JD: Wow, Green had a lot to say. They didn’t seem to like anyone except Orange and Blue. They gave their pieces to those teams which puts Blue in the lead with three pieces and Orange tied for second with Red. Purple and Yellow still only have one piece. You will both have a chance to win a piece because you will be competing in an Endurance mission today. I’ll give you some time.
Orange and Blue put their pieces on their poles.
Layne: “Orange and Blue got Green’s pieces which is no shock to anyone. We had an alliance with them so naturally, they gave use their pieces.”
Jackson: “It feels good to be in the lead. I don’t think anyone is going to look at us as a threat considering that we still haven’t won anything.”
Blue is on the swing:
Jackson: We need to win today.
Layne: Why do we need to win?
Jackson: We need to prove ourselves. I don’t want to be that one team that never won anything.
Jackson: *We have to prove ourselves. We have to win.*
Brittney is talking to Jared:
Brittney: Listen, I know that I’ve sort of caused a lot of drama in the past but I was wondering if we could form an alliance or something.
Jared: Huh? No way. I don’t do alliances.
Brittney: What about you and Red?
Jared: We’re just really good friends.
Brittney: I really like you Jared and I want you to like me too so please just think about it. I’m not a bad person!
Jared: *EWW!*
The teams walk to the beach for their mission.
JD: Hey guys. You all look ready for this mission. Who’s going to win?
Everyone raises their hands. Jackson raises two hands.
JD: Do you really want to win, Jackson?
Jackson: I really want to win, JD.
JD: Okay, well here’s your mission. You see that contraption out in the water. Well, you and your partner will have to try and get across to the other side on those swing-like attachments. You can not let go of your partner at anytime. If you fall in the water of let go, you have to start over. The winner will win the Commitment piece and also the Samadhi. Okay everyone get into position.
Everyone starts off trying to get over the first swing and Brittney falls in the water almost immediately.
JD: Oh, Yellow has to start over again. You need teamwork to win this mission. It looks like Blue has almost made it over the first swing.
Blue makes it over the first swing and so does Purple.
JD: Blue and Purple seem to have a strategy down. Both teams are using a different tactic.
Blue is a hair ahead of Purple.
JD: It looks like Blue is going to take it. Purple is right there though. Red is a close third.
Samantha and Jackson both slip at the same time. Jared is able to hold on to Samantha and Layne clings to Jackson.
JD: Whoa, that was a close call for both teams. Purple got up first but Blue is right behind them.
Jackson: Come on, Layne! I think we can still catch up!
Kimberly: Hold on. I don’t think I can do this anymore.
Logan: Come on! You got it!
Jared: AHH!!!
Samantha: WE WON!!
JD: Oh, Blue was so close. Purple! Congratulations!
Jared and Samantha jump in the water followed by the other teams. Jackson slaps the water.
JD: Great job, Purple! That’s twice in a row now! You showed some awesome teamwork out there. Here’s your piece and I’ll meet you by the cove for your Samadhi decision.
The teams walk off to their cabins.
Purple puts their piece on their pole.
Samantha: "It feels really good to win twice in a row. I think we’re starting to control this game."
Jackson: *That just makes me so angry! We were so close to winning. We had it, we HAD it.*
Jared and Samantha are sitting on the beach.
Jared: I think Yellow is our only option at this point.
Samantha: Well, that’s not necessarily true.
Jared: What are we suppose to do, give it to Red or something?
They laugh.
Samantha: I just don’t want to cause anymore drama with Brittney.
Jared: Or Casper.
Samantha: Like you said, maybe we should just forget about targeting Yellow. They aren't very strong.
Jared: Then who do we give the Samadhi to?
Samantha: Orange? Both are silent for a while. Brittney walks up.
Brittney: Have you thought about what I said, Jared?
Jared: Um, yeah.
Brittney: So?
Jared thinks for a second.
Jared: We’re giving the Samadhi to Orange.
Samantha stares then nods. Brittney shrieks then hugs Jared.
Brittney talks to Jordin in the girls’ cabin:
Jordin: What’s up?
Brittney: I was just talking to Purple and they said that they are giving the Samadhi to you guys.
Jordin: What? Why would they do that? That doesn’t even make sense.
Brittney: I don’t know. Strategy I guess. I’m sorry girl.
Jordin: Yeah…
Jordin: “I think Jared and Samantha have something else up their sleeves.”
At the cove:
JD: Hey, ya’ll.
Layne: Hi, JD.
JD: Purple, you guys delivered out there. You completed that mission with only one slip-up! You showed great teamwork. Now, Blue, you were ahead the entire time until you trip and almost fell in the water. How did that make you feel, Jackson?
Jackson: For some reason, I felt like I had to win today. I felt like this was my game.
JD: Do you think you’re getting the Samadhi.
Jackson: Nah, it’s not like that. I’m good friends with Purple, but anything can happen. I felt like I wanted to prove myself and make sure I win something before I leave.
JD: Brittney, I see you looking at Jared and smiling. Is there something going on between you two?
Jared stares, confused.
Brittney: No, Jared and I are really good friends and he said something really funny today. That’s all.
Jared: “Um, excuse me? I never talk to Brittney, I would never consider her a friend, and when did I say ANYTHING funny to her? I mean, have I been asleep this whole time or something? Cause I certainly don't remember any of that.”
JD: Okay, okay. Let’s get on to the decision. Purple, who will you be handicapping in the next mission?
Jared: I’m sorry but Yellow.
Brittney’s smile fades to a frown and then she starts crying. Casper looks up at the sky. Jordin gasps.
JD: Give that to Yellow. Brittney, I see you’re upset. What’s wrong?
Brittney: It’s just, Jared said he was giving to the Samadhi to Orange.
JD: Is that right, Jared?
Jared: Well yeah. I’m not going to deny something that I did. I did it to get Yellow off of my back.
JD: Was it really worth hurting someone like that?
Jared hangs his head.
JD: Well, Yellow, come open that Samadhi.
Casper slams the Samadhi against a rock.
Brittney: It says 20 seconds.
JD: That means you will have to start 20 seconds after everyone else.
Brittney groans; Casper shakes his head.
JD: Go rest up guys. You will need plenty of energy for the temple mission.
The teams walk back to their cabins.
Brittney (crying): “I just don’t see why everyone wants to target us.”
Jared: “I thought of that in a split second. I actually feel bad about it."
Logan: “Wow, all of this happened right under my nose. I gotta check under there more often.”
Next Time:
The Yellow Team plans for revenged (shows Casper saying, “We’ll get them back”).
The teams compete in another temple mission (shows Jordin splashing into the water).
And two teams are sent to the Temple of Fate (shows the Temple of Fate from and aerial view).
