Since it's start, Endurance has been turning into one of the most
watched reality shows on television. It began in 2002 with the
first cast of teens not knowing what to expect. All they knew was
that they would be roughing it out in an isolated location, parent
free.

In order to stay on the island, the contestants must compete in
missions. There are two types of missions, Temple Missions and
Endurance Missions. Both are very valuable if won. Winners of the
Temple Missions control what two teams will be sent to the
Temple of Fate. Winners of the Endurance Missions, receive
the sought after Samadhi which will handicap a team of their
choice and also receives a pyramid piece to add to their
collection.

Before being able to win Endurance, a team must collect all 13
pyramid pieces. To do this you must win Endurance Missions and
make alliances so that when they are eliminated from the island
they will leave behind their pieces to you. The winner is determined
at the end of the season with the final two teams in a head to
head competitons which is simply guessing and hoping you guess
right so that you become the next champion.

Endurance had been around for five consecutive seasons and
is praised as being the best teen reality show that lets teens appear
and compete in. It is nominated for a daytime emmy and deserves
it. Endurance will returned for a sixth season in 2008, and fans can
only hope a 7th will follow.
