“Interview”
JD: Last time on Endurance: Rhode Island, the teams fought for the power of the Samadhi and one team was determined to win (shows Jackson saying, “We have to win.”). Purple won the mission and betrayed Yellow by giving them the Samadhi (shows Brittney crying). On this episode, the contestants will fight to win the temple mission and send two teams to the Temple of Fate (shows Casper running into the water). This is Endurance.

Jordin: “Brittney has really been getting on my nerves lately. She’s been so whiney and she’s been complaining a LOT.”
Orange and Blue are in the boys’ cabin:
Jordin: What do you think about what Jared did?
Jackson: Not much really. It wasn’t an awful thing to do, you know?
Jordin: Yeah, I guess. Personally, I think that Brittney deserves to be tricked and lied to. That’s basically what she does to us.
Layne: How so?
Jordin: Oh, just always saying she can ensure that we stay here, making false deals with people, spreading rumors, that kind of stuff, you know?
Layne: Um, I guess.
Gavin: What Jordin is trying to say is she wants Brittney gone.
Jordin: Don’t we all? She’s such a brat, she complains all the time about everything, she whines. I’m done with her.
Casper and Brittney are listening outside.
Brittney: Well I’m done with her.
Later:
JD: Come on out! You in there?
Casper: Yup. Hey, JD!
JD: You all know why I’m here, right?
Jackson: Another one bites the dust!
Scattered laughter.
JD: Yep. Another team is going home tonight. Yellow, I wanted to talk to you. You guys seem to be the target this game. Do you know why that is, Casper?
Casper: Well, I think, since the other teams are really good friends, we’re the easy target.
JD: Is that true, guys?
Jared: Maybe. I mean you guys do cause a lot of drama and that makes us want to get rid of you.
Brittney: So? Why not go after the other, stronger teams?
Jared: We’re friends with those teams.
JD: So you’re basically saying you’ve all formed an alliance against the Yellow Team?
Jared: That’s not what I’m saying at all. No one’s made an alliance like that. I’ve never really talked to Yellow.
JD: Why don’t you all talk to them, Jared?
Jared: Because they’re too busy making drama!
JD: Okay, I’ll leave it at that. See you in a few hours.
Layne: “What Jared said was really true. Most of us haven’t ever tried to talk to Yellow but it’s because they cause so much friction among the teams.”
In the girls’ cabin:
Casper: Don’t take what Jordin said to heart. She’s just…
Brittney: A complete jerk?
Casper: That’s one way to put it.
Brittney: I’m so sick of this! Why does everyone have to hate us?
Purple and Red are talking by the woods:
Jared: If one of us wins today, who do we send with Yellow? Orange or Blue?
Logan: That’s going to be a hard decision. We like both of those teams.
Kimberly: Blue doesn’t seem like much of threat though.
Jared: So maybe we should send them.
Samantha: Let’s just think about it when one of us wins.
They laugh.
At the mission:
JD: Come on, come on. Are you nervous?
Logan: Yeah, kinda.
JD: It certainly is getting close. There are only five teams left and one is going home tonight. I’d be nervous. As a matter of fact, I am nervous.
Everyone laughs.
JD: Well here’s your mission. Friendship will definitely be an advantage in this game. You and your partner will each have to carry a giant bucket and you will have to run to the water, fill the bucket up, and pour the water into a team’s container. Once a team’s container is filled to the brim, a flag will shoot up signaling that that team is out of the game. The challenge will continue until we have a winner. Yellow, your Samadhi said that you will have a 20 second penalty which means you can not start until those 20 seconds are up. Does everyone understand? Okay, grab your buckets.
Everyone gabs their buckets and goes to the starting line.
JD: Ready? GO! Who is going to win this mission?
Purple and Red go after Yellow. Blue and Orange go after Red and Purple.
JD: Yellow, GO!
Casper and Brittney sprint into the water and immediately go for Orange.
Jared: Get Yellow! Get Yellow!
JD: Wow! Orange and Blue are spreading the love around! It looks like Red and Purple have also split up their efforts and are each getting a different team.
Logan: Go after Orange! Orange!
Orange’s flag shoots up.
JD: Oh, that’s it for Orange. Come on out, guys.
Blue continues after the other three teams.
Samantha: Let’s get Blue!
JD: Everybody wants to win.
Jared: No, we’re just getting Yellow!
Casper: Brittney, Red!
Brittney trips Kimberly as the pass each other. Kimberly falls and re-opens her cut knee.
JD: Kimberly just took a tumble and spilt the water. That’s going to cost the Red team.
Logan: You alright?
Kimberly: Yeah, yeah. Just go!
They run back down to the water.
JD: Kimberly is bruised and bleeding but she’s still going for it.
Casper: That’s not exactly what I meant…
Yellow pours another bucket-load into Purple’s and their flag shoots up.
JD: Purple, you’re out!
Jared: Man! GO RED!!!
JD: It’s down to Blue, Red, and Yellow.
Casper: Red! We’re getting Red!
Logan: Come on, we’ve got this!
Red’s flag flies up.
Samantha: NO!!
JD: Sorry Red, you’re done.
Logan: Go Blue!
Kimberly sits down and inspects her knee. Logan runs over to help her. JD starts to walk over to her but Kimberly reassures him that she’s fine.
JD: It’s a race between Blue and Yellow. Who’s going to win?
Blue pours a bucket-load into Yellow but it is not enough.
Jackson: One more! One more! Come on!
Just then, Blue’s flag shoots up and Yellow wins.
Brittney: We won! AHHH!
Brittney hugs Casper.
JD: Yellow wins! That’s it!
Jared walks away with his head in his hands.
JD: Yellow, come over here! You beat out the Samadhi to win your very first mission! You definitely rocked it out there. I’ll see you by the rock for your decision.
The teams walk away with shaking their heads.
On the swing:
Casper: We know we are definitely not sending Blue.
Brittney: And Orange is a definite pick.
Casper: So it’s between Red and Purple.
Purple and Red are on the beach:
Logan: I think we’re both going.
Jared: May the best team win!
Samantha: Sorry to change the subject but Kimberly, how’s your knee?
Kimberly: Oh, it’s not that bad. I didn’t cut it open too much.
Samantha: That’s good.
Jared: Brittney tripped you. Everyone saw it.
Kimberly: I know. I’m just not going to make a big deal out of it. Maybe if I just let it go, we’ll be safe.
Logan: Or she’ll do it again.
Kimberly and Logan (Logan is acting like a reporter and Kimberly is pretending to be Brittney): *And she just, like, totally got in my way and everyone is turning against me saying that I…*
*Mmm, yes. Go on.*
*They’re saying I tripped her!*
*No!*
*Yes!*
They laugh.
At the rock:
JD: Welcome, welcome. There has definitely been a shift in power here. Yellow, you all dominated in the mission and you beat the Samadhi! Why did you decide to come out strong now?
Casper: I guess we just felt the pressure of Temple looming over us and we pushed through!
JD: Orange, Yellow was going after you almost the entire time. Do you think you’re going to temple, Gavin?
Gavin: I’m not sure. It’s possible, but of course anything’s possible on Endurance!
JD: Kimberly, you took a bad fall and re-injured your knee but you continued on with the challenge. You were even bleeding at one point. How did you keep up with your partner?
Kimberly: I didn’t really hurt my knee that bad and I really did not want to lose that mission. I forgot about the pain and just endured through it.
JD: That’s what it’s all about. Now, for Yellow’s decision. Who are the two teams you are sending to the Temple of Fate?
Casper: This wasn’t a very hard decision; I’m not going to lie. So we’re sending Orange and…
Brittney: Purple.
Samantha puts her head on Jared’s shoulder. Jordin and Gavin look at each other. Kimberly and Logan look shocked. Jared runs his hands through his hair.
JD: It looks like that was a shock to everyone but Purple, Orange, I’m sorry, you have to pack your bags, say your goodbyes and take the long trip up to the Temple of Fate.
Jared: “I can’t believe we’re going to temple. Just yesterday we were in power. How did I let this happen?”
At the cabins Red and Purple are saying goodbye.
Logan: This isn’t for good. We’ll see you guys again.
Samantha: Oh yeah, we’re coming back.
Jared: See you soon.
They all hug.
Orange and Blue say goodbye.
Jackson: Yellow did a good job about splitting up the alliances.
Jordin: One of us is coming back so one alliance is still safe.
Gavin: I hope that’s our alliance.
Layne: I love you guys.
They put their hands in and hug.
Purple and Orange take their pieces down from their poles.
Logan: Come on, Jared!
Layne: Bye, Orange!
Yellow sits back and smirks.
Samantha: “This isn’t the last Yellow’s seen of us. When Purple comes back, they’re dead.”
Gavin: “This is kind of scary going up against one of the best teams in the game. I know this thing is based on luck, but it’s still nerve-wracking.”
The teams walk up the stairs.
JD: Welcome to the Temple of Fate. This is a first time for both of you. As you can see before you, there are three cauldrons. One contains fire, one contains, water, and the other contains wood. You will write an element on a rock there and then we will see which team guessed the dominant element. Remember, fire burns wood, wood floats on water, and water puts out the fire. The first team to win two rounds will head back to the island and the loser will be sent home.
Jared: Whoop.
JD: Are you excited Jared?
Jared: No, that was my nervous yell.
JD: Ha, okay please write down your first element.
Jared: Wood.
Samantha: Water!
Jared: Fire!
Samantha: Haha. STOP!
Jordin: We’ll do fire.
Gavin: You read my mind.
JD: Thanks, Samantha. I’ll take that Gavin. Can I please see the elements rise?
Wood rises for Purple and fire for Orange.
JD: Orange, fire burns the wood which means you’ve won the first win. Purple, one more loss and you will be heading home. You have to win the second round to force a third round. Please select your second element.
Gavin: What do we do?
Jordin: Eenie, meanie, minie, mo…
Jared: Let’s do wood again.
Samantha: Whatever you say.
JD: Thanks, guys. Can I please see the dominant element rise?
Purple chose wood and Orange chose fire.
JD: Purple, you won this round. You have tied it up which means we must go into a tie-breaking round. Write down your elements, please.
Jared: I don’t know this time.
Samantha: May I?
Jared: Of course.
Gavin: I think we should do wood. It’s the only one we haven’t done.
Jordin: But maybe they’re expecting that.
JD: Can I have your choices, please? Thanks. Can I please see the dominant element rise?
Wood rises for both teams. They all look shocked and impatient.
Jared: Are you kidding me?
JD: Wow, we have a tie! Please choose again!
Gavin: Oh, jeez.
Jordin: What do we do?
Jared: Let’s do fire this time.
Samantha: Sounds good to me.
JD: Can I please see the dominant element?
Purple chose fire and Orange chose water. Gavin and Jordin hug. Samantha begins to cry and Jared hugs her.
JD: Purple, I’m sorry, but you will be heading home tonight. You played a great game and I’m sure everyone will miss you very much. Thanks for playing.
Purple fades into the fire.
JD: Orange, congratulations! You beat one of the toughest teams in the game. Go head back to the cabins.
Orange runs down the stairs to the cabins.
The teams are waiting around the fire:
Gavin: And you thought you could get rid of us!
Red stares; Kimberly begins to cry but tries to be excited that Orange is back. Blue and Orange hug and laugh.
Next Time:
Two teams form an unexpected alliance (shows Logan talking to someone).
The mission causes more drama with Brittney (shows Brittney crying).
And the Red Team is ready for revenge (shows Kimberly saying, “We are going to win this.”).
i know that the drama with Kimberly's knee was a little lame but it will come up again next episode =D
