”Interview”
JD: Last time on Endurance there was a total power shift as Yellow won the temple mission and sent Purple and Orange to the Temple of Fate (shows Samantha putting her head on Jared’s shoulder). In a nerve-wracking temple consisting of four rounds, the Orange team finally came out on top. Today, the teams will compete in a mission with a shocking twist (shows Kimberly putting her hand over her mouth). Who will prove that they have the greatest endurance?
Theme Song
20 Teens (shows two people hugging)
A new location (shows an aerial view of a beach)
More challenges (shows a team pulling a boat)
1 winner (shows a boy jumping up and down wildly)
Endurance: Rhode Island
The Red Team is swinging sadly.
Kimberly: I can’t believe Purple is gone.
Logan: I know. I keep hearing Jared and Samantha laughing. They were so easy-going.
Kimberly: Yeah, but we really need to move on. We can’t let this bring us down.
Logan: Agreed.
Orange is talking by the beach. Blue is close by.
Jordin: I think we need to lose the Blue Team. They’re kind of holding us down.
Gavin: Yeah, but what if they miraculously win a mission after we drop them?
Jordin: I don’t think that’s going to happen.
Jordin: “I really feel that we could do a lot better if we didn’t have Blue to worry about. I don’t want to just leave them hanging but I don’t really feel like telling them directly. I think we should ease out of this alliance.”
In the woods:
Jackson: Oh, how shallow.
Layne: How low!
Later:
JD: Hey, guys! Come on out!
Gavin: Hey, JD.
JD: As you guys know, Purple went home last night after a brutal trip to temple. Just ask Orange. It went to four rounds after Purple had tied it up. They were extremely sad to leave but they did leave a letter so Layne, since you’re sitting next to me, how about you read the letter.
Layne: Mm-hm.
Dear Everyone,
Hey, hey, hey you guys have made it pretty far! Although I have some opinions about who deserves to be there and what not, I’ve learned that its best to keep my mouth shut in situations like these. Yellow, I’ll start with you. You guys are pretty interesting people. You’re really good at causing a scene. I think you should be actors. Blue, you all were so sweet and we are definitely going to miss you tons. Orange, you two are super strong and will probably make it very far in this game. Congratulations on beating us up at temple! And finally Red, Kimmy Lee and Logan. You were our best friends in this game. You were the two who bothered to try and understand us. You kept true to our secret alliance (not so secret anymore) and you really helped us through. We will miss you and love you so we’re giving you BOTH of our pieces. Use them well and for heaven’s sake WIN THIS THING!
L.O.L (Lots Of Love)
Jared (or as Logan would say Jareeeeeed) and Samantha (Easy, Breezy, Beautiful, Covergirl)
JD: Wow, what characters, huh? Red, you have taken the lead now with four pieces. Blue is right behind you with three, and Orange behind them with two, and then Yellow with only one. Now Red, I forgot to mention yesterday, I saw Kimberly fall in the mission but I never quite saw what happened. Can you explain?
Kimberly looks at Brittney.
Kimberly: Oh, I just tripped over Brittney’s foot. That’s all.
The camera shows Kimberly’s battered knee.
JD: Tripped? Was it an accident?
Kimberly: Yeah, I’m pretty sure.
JD: Was it an accident, Brittney?
Brittney: Um, of course! I would never purposely hurt anyone!
Kimberly rolls her eyes.
JD: Okay, well I’m sorry I had to bring that up. I’m sure you’re trying to forget about that. You all will be competing in a mission today, so get prepared and I will see you in a few hours.
The Red Team puts their pieces on their pole.
Logan: “I think we’ve become a great threat here. Four pieces, we’ve won missions, and plus, we work great together.”
Gavin: *We need to get rid of Red.*
Blue approaches Red in the boys’ cabin:
Layne: Hey, can we talk to you guys about something?
Logan: Yeah sure. What about?
Jackson: I know it’s late in the game, but we’d like to form an alliance with you guys.
Red Team looks shocked.
Jackson: “We had sort of suspected that Orange was going to betray us. They had started making a ton of important decisions and talking about the game without confronting us with their ideas. I know it wasn’t a written law that they tell us these things but we still feel like that’s what you do in an alliance. Talk the game out with your alliance! I’m just hoping we can trust the Red Team.”
Kimberly looks at Logan and Logan nods.
Kimberly: Yeah, sure. That sounds like a really good idea.
Layne: We’ve talk it out and we feel like you guys are really trustworthy.
Logan: “I can hardly believe that we are actually making this alliance but I feel that since Purple is gone, we could use some help. We really like the Blue Team so I’m hoping this will all work out.”
Layne: We’ll talk about this later. I see the Yellow Team.
The Yellow Team is a little way from the cabin and is trying to listen.
Brittney: What do you think they’re talking about?
Casper: I don’t know, but here comes Kimberly.
Kimberly approaches them.
Brittney: What were you talking about?
Casper shakes his head.
Kimberly: Oh, just my knee.
Brittney: Uh-huh. What about it?
Kimberly: Listen, Brittney. Don’t think I don’t know about what you did in that mission.
Brittney: What are you talking about?
Kimberly: Oh, don’t play dumb with me, Brittney. I know you tripped me on purpose. And don’t think I’m not going to get you back for that, because I will.
Kimberly walks off casually. Brittney rolls her eyes.
Brittney: *Puh-leez! Who does she think she is, waltzing over here and threatening me! She thinks she owns the place! Yeah, I tripped her! GET OVER IT! Jeez, people are so touchy. It’s not like it got her kicked off or anything…”
Later at the mission:
JD: Hey, guys. Come over here. How’s everyone doing?
Everyone offers various answers.
JD: I’m glad to hear that, guys! Are you all ready to hear about your mission?
Layne: Mm-hm!
JD: Because I forgot to mention something.
Jordin: What?
JD: The winner of this mission will not only get a piece but the winning team will also get the power to create their own game which will be the next temple mission. That team can either ask the other teams for help or they can make it up all by themselves. They can tell the other teams about it, they can tell only select teams about, or they can keep it to themselves. Whatever they want to do, they can do.
Kimberly puts her hand over her mouth.
Kimberly: “We are going to win this!”
JD: Now, do ya’ll remember that test you had to take at the beginning of the entire game that was like a giant test of all school subjects?
Layne: Yeah.
JD: Well we took the answers that were answered correctly but the most contestants and we will be using them today in this mission. Are you ready to hear about your mission?
Everyone: Yeah!
JD: Okay, what you will have to do is each team member will have to launch a ball out into the ocean and try to get their ball into their basket. If they get a ball into their basket that member gets to answer a question. I will ask the question and you will write down your answer on a piece of paper. If you get the question right, you get a point for your team. The first team to get twenty points wins a piece and the power to create the next temple mission.
Everyone: Yes.
JD: Okay, get into position.
The contestants all stand in front of their sling-shots.
JD: Ready? Launch the first ball!
All members launch their balls. Jordin, Gavin, Logan, and Casper each land one in their basket.
JD: Here is the first question: What is the island off of Japan called where one of the most famous battles of World War Two was fought?
They write down their answers then show everyone.
JD: Iwo Jima is correct. It looks like everyone got that one right! Launch the second ball!
Everyone shoots their ball. Kimberly, Jordin, Jackson, and Casper each land a ball in their basket.
JD: Jordin and Casper are two for two! Here’s the second question: What is the square root of 576?
Everyone writes down the answer and then reveals it.
JD: It looks like everyone got that one right: twenty-four! Launch the third ball!
The game continues until Red and Orange are tied with 19 points each.
JD: Launch your balls!
Logan, Layne, and Gavin get their balls in their baskets.
JD: Which direction do lines of latitude go?
Jordin is jumping up and down eagerly. Gavin, Layne, and Logan write down their answers carefully. Then they reveal their answers.
JD: Layne and Logan wrote down horizontally which is the correct answer! Red wins!
Gavin looks down, disappointed.
Logan: No way!
Kimberly runs over to hug him.
Gavin: “I can’t believe I got that wrong. I guess I was so nervous I forgot how to think.”
JD: Congratulations, Red Team! You get the Knowledge Piece and the power to create the next mission. You can start thinking about it today but I won’t need the rules until tomorrow.
Kimberly: “Now we get to create the mission! I think this might turn out to be really difficult though.”
The teams walk off to their cabins.
Kimberly and Logan put their Knowledge piece on their pole.
Logan: We have such a big lead!
Kimberly: I know! I think we’re starting to make a name for ourselves here!
The Red Team talks in the boys’ cabin:
Kimberly: Do you think we should tell anyone?
Logan: Maybe we should tell Blue about it and get them to help us with it.
Kimberly: But then everyone would know we were in an alliance. Maybe we should keep it quiet.
Logan: Then the Blue Team wouldn’t trust us anymore.
Kimberly: “The hardest decision so far is has been whether or not to tell Layne and Jackson. I never expected that.”
Next Time:
The Red Team has a hard time coming up with a mission (shows Logan looking up at the sky angrily).
Someone finds out about the alliance between Blue and Red and tells (shows Layne saying, “You had no right to do that!”).
And someone goes home (shows the Temple of Fate).
Logan and Kimberly: Teamwork, Courage, Leadership, Commitment, Knowledge
Jackson and Layne: Friendship, Heart, Luck
Casper and Brittney: Trust
Gavin and Jordin: Strength, Perseverance
Sorry this took so long to get up.
I know it's really lame and the drama isn't as good but I was extremely rushed because my brother came into town.
Oh, and the create your own game twist just sort of popped into my head at the last minute. I know it wasn't in the preview.
