“Interview”

JD: Last time, on Endurance Rhode Island, Blue confronted Red with the shocking request to form an alliance. After agreeing, the Red team went on to win the mission and ultimately won the power to create the next temple mission. In this episode, the Red team will create their mission and someone will go home. Who will make it back from the temple of fate?

Theme Song
20 Teens (shows two people hugging)
A new location (shows an aerial view of a beach)
More challenges (shows a team pulling a boat)
1 winner (shows a boy jumping up and down wildly)
Endurance: Rhode Island

The Yellow Team is watching the Red team talk.
Casper: I can’t believe they won! Again!

Brittney: Yeah, they’ll probably figure out our weaknesses and form the mission around them or something.

Casper: Brittney, they may be good, but they’re not, like, superheroes or anything. It’s not like they can read minds.

Brittney: Yeah, whatever.

The Red team is discussing their mission in the girls’ cabin.
Kimberly: Let’s just have Blue help us and somehow talk about it in secret.

Logan: We have to have this thing completed soon. It’s not like we can just avoid Orange and Yellow for the next few hours.

Kimberly: We have to ask Blue to help us.

Logan: *It’s all really confusing just because we don’t know whether or not to get Blue’s help and risk revealing our alliance or not tell them and possibly lose our alliance with them.*

Later:
JD: Hey, guys, anyone in there?

Gavin: Yeah! What’s up?

JD: I just wanted to talk about the temple mission. But before we do,
Layne, are there any secret alliances that I need to know about?

Layne: (Surprised) Not that I know of.

JD: No secret groups or even plans for alliances.
Layne shakes her head.

JD: Okay then. Well, Red, you won the power to create the temple mission. Have you thought up any ideas yet?

Logan: Not…really.

JD: Well, you need to have completed a mission, with all the rules figured out, by today.
Kimberly looks at Logan.

JD: I hope you guys can think something up because if you don’t finish it in four hours, two teams will be drawn out of a hat and those teams will go to the Temple of Fate.

Brittney: What?

Jordin: Oh…my…gosh.

JD: Good luck, Red team. No pressure or anything.
Logan and Kimberly offer forced, nervous smiles.

In the boys’ cabin:
Kimberly: We need Blue’s help!

Logan: Okay, but we have to be really careful about it.

Kimberly: Yeah, I know.

The Red team confronts Layne and Jackson and asks them to help them.
Layne: Yeah, sure, we’ll help.

Jackson: We were wondering if you were going to ask us.

Kimberly: We just have to be as careful as we can because if Yellow or Orange hears us talking about it, they’ll suspect something.

Layne: We figured you’d say something like that.

Kimberly: Okay, let’s start pumping out some ideas. Here are some of the props we have.
The teams start discussing the props they have to work with.

Logan: “We figured out a strategy that would hopefully help us keep our alliance in secret. We would talk for a little while, then go in our separate ways and think about the mission by ourselves or with are teammates. Then, later, we’ll meet together again in a different spot and talk some more and so on. I just hope it works.”

Orange is talking by the swing.
Jordin: I saw Blue and Red talking by the ocean. It was kind of in that clump of trees but they were definitely talking about the mission.

Gavin: Do you think they’re in an alliance.

Jordin: I know they are.

Jordin: “When we dumped Blue, they ran off and got help from Red because they’re so scared and so weak. It’s pathetic.”

Gavin: Do you think we should tell Yellow?

Jordin: Not yet.

Later at the mission:
JD: Red, did you think of a challenge?

Logan: Yes we did, JD.

Gavin: (Whispering to Jordin) Yeah, with some help.

JD: Logan, why don’t you read me the rules?

Logan: Sure thing. Okay, it’s basically a big race with sort of a twist. There’ll be four balls on one end of the lane and then the teams will start on the other end. The point is to get all of the balls into your team’s bucket that’s sitting on the starting line. One teammate will start off running to one end and running back carrying a ball. Once they get a ball in, they have to slap their teammates hand and that teammate will go and get a ball and bring it to the bucket. Seems simple, right? Well, you have to do all of that while getting past the obstacles that are all over your team’s lane. There might be things you have to climb over or under or anything. If anyone drops a ball at anytime, the team will have to start all over again. Does it all make sense?
Everyone nods.

JD: Okay, let’s get started. Great job, Red team. Everyone into positions!
Each team gets on their starting line.

JD: Ready? When I say go, the first teammate will start. On your marks, get set, GO!
Gavin, Layne, Casper, and Logan all sprint towards the end of the lane.

JD: It looks like Gavin might have a slight lead at the start of the obstacles.
Gavin army-crawls under some netting, Layne walks across a beam, Casper hop scotches through tires, and Logan jumps over some hurdles.

JD: Gavin grabs a ball first but Logan and Layne are right behind him. Casper is still having trouble getting through the last obstacle.
Gavin and Logan are neck-and-neck getting back to their starting lines.

JD: Gavin and Logan get their balls in their buckets first and are now Kimberly and Jordin are going to get balls. Blue team has a ball in and Jackson is going for a second. Brittney is still waiting for Casper who almost has Yellow’s first ball in.
Jordin has a slight lead on Kimberly, who seems to having trouble with her knee, and gets a ball first. Jackson catches up to Kimberly and they get their balls at the same time.

JD: Jordin, Jackson and Kimberly get to their balls at the same time. Brittney seems to be only widening the space between the Yellow team and the other teams.
The camera shows Brittney struggling to get across a beam. Jackson is trying to get under a net and drops the ball.

JD: Oh, and Jackson just dropped the ball. The Blue team will have to start over again!
Layne and Jackson take all of the balls back to end and start over again.
Kimberly and Jordin get their balls in, then Brittney who is way behind them.
Kimberly: Come on, Logan!

JD: Logan gets to his ball first but Gavin is right behind him. Casper seems to be gaining a little of the ground the Yellow team lost. Layne gets her first ball and is heading for her bucket.

Brittney: Yeah, Casper!

JD: Logan is having trouble getting under the netting and Gavin takes this opportunity but Logan gets back up and catches Gavin again. They get their balls in at the same time and Kimberly and Jordin are off. Casper is coming in and Jackson is half way to getting Blue’s second ball. It looks like it’s a race between Orange and Red.
Kimberly and Jordin are neck-and-neck again and reach the balls at the same time. But Kimberly slips when she gets to them and Jordin gets a lead.

JD: Jordin has a small lead but Kimberly is coming up right behind her. They’re nearing the end of the race. They’ve gotten over the obstacles and here’s the running stretch.
Both girls are sprinting with balls in hand to the finish line.

JD: It looks like Orange might win but…NO!!! Kimberly comes out of nowhere and gets here ball in her bucket before Jordin!! The Red team has just won. But Kimberly is down on the ground clutching her knee.
The camera shows Logan running over to where she lies on the ground.

Kimberly: I’m fine. It’s just kind of sore, I guess.
Logan hugs her and picks her up.

Kimberly: Logan, don’t hurt yourself, too!
Jordin throws her ball on the ground violently. Brittney cries on Casper’s shoulder who tries to comfort her. Blue looks disappointed but not surprised.

JD: Red team has one again! Great job, you guys. But remember, you have to send someone home tonight. I’ll meet you at the rock to learn who you’ll be sending.

Kimberly: WE WON!!!

Logan: I know!

Back at the beach, all the teams are sitting around enjoying the view.
Layne: How’s your knee, Kimberly?

Kimberly: It’s alright.

Casper: You know what? I can’t believe you, Red team. I knew you would do this! You get to make a mission and you make it so that only you can win!

Logan: That’s impossible, Casper. Everyone had a fair chance. You’re just being-

Casper: Whatever! Why is it that you won then? Because you made a mission that targeted every team’s weakness except yours!

Kimberly: Do you know how ridiculous you’re being? Every team has different-

Jordin: They didn’t make it so that only they could win.

Brittney: How do you know?

Jordin: Because I happen to know that Blue helped them. And everyone saw. Blue lost by a long shot!

Casper: That doesn’t prove anything!

Gavin: It proves that they’re in an alliance! Blue and Red!

Jackson: EVERYONE! STOP!

Layne: You had no right to do that!

Jordin: You had no right to go off and be all buddy-buddy with the Red team!

Jackson: We had every right to do so!

Gavin: Then I had the right to tell.

Layne: You’re the worst!
Layne runs off, crying. Jackson follows her. Brittney and Casper looked completely shocked while the Orange team looks triumphant. Logan and Kimberly shake their heads and follow the Blue team.

Kimberly: (Before she leaves) You guys are definitely going to temple tonight

Layne: *(Crying) I…just can’t…believe her. This is…all wrong! Now we’re really…targets! I guess…it doesn’t matter…after this.*

The Red team and the Blue team talk in the girls’ cabin.
Kimberly: We know you didn’t tell them. None of us did. They just found out.
Jackson: What jerks.

Logan: Yeah they are definitely going to temple tonight along with Yellow.

Layne: After this…it’s just every…team for itself. So I guess…it doesn’t matter anymore.

Kimberly: Yeah, I guess your right.

Kimberly: “Orange team’s timing on their whole scandal was a little ridiculous. I guess they didn’t really think it out. Whatever!”

At the rock:
JD: Red team, you guys won again. You must be feeling pretty proud of yourselves.

Logan: We feel pretty good…pretty lucky.

JD: Is your knee okay, Kimberly? You didn’t re-open it again or anything?

Kimberly: Nah, I think that last push just sort of did me in.

JD: Well, I’m sure it was worth it. Now, Logan, why don’t you tell us who’ll be going to temple.

Logan: We decided to send Orange and Yellow.

Brittney: Shocker.

JD: Orange, Yellow, I’m sorry but you will have to pack your bags and take the long journey up to the Temple of Fate where two teams will go up but only one will come down. I’ll meet you guys up there.

At the girls’ cabin:
Jordin: There was no surprise we were going up.

Brittney: Yeah, I know. It’s totally lame.

Jordin: I saw it coming.

Jordin: “I’m not really surprised that Red sent us. I mean, after the thing I tried to pull, it was obvious I was going up. But I think we can beat Yellow easily.”

The boys’ cabin:
Gavin: I’m kind of nervous.

Casper: Yeah, me too. Good luck to you, man.

Gavin: Same to you.

Gavin: “I’m just letting Casper think that I’m all nervous about temple and I let him think he can beat me. He’s such a loser.”

Casper: “I see right through what Gavin’s trying to pull. I’ll just let him think that I can’t.”

At the Temple of Fate:
JD: Welcome back, Orange and Yellow. I’m sure you’re familiar with how this works by now so let’s jump right in. Please write down you’re first elements on the rock.

Jordin: Wood, definitely.

Gavin: Whatever you say.

Brittney: I don’t know.

Casper: Let me see it…

JD: I’ll take that Casper. Thanks. Let’s see who won the first round.
Jordin has her fist over her mouth. Casper is looking down.

JD: Can I please see the dominant elements rise?
Wood rises for Orange while Fire rises for Yellow.

JD: Fire burns the Wood. Yellow that’s one win for you. Orange, you have to win this next round to move on to a third round. Please write down your second elements.

Brittney: I think Fire again.

Casper: No, no, Wood.

Jordin: Are you sure?

Gavin: I’m positive.

JD: Thank you, Jordin. I’ll take your rock, Casper. Can I please see the dominant element now?
Wood rises for Yellow and Water rises for Orange.

JD: Wood floats on Water which means Yellow, you’re heading back to the beach. Orange, I’m sorry but you will be leaving Rhode Island tonight. You played a heck of a game but you’re journey must end now.
Jordin shakes her head angrily. Gavin nods sadly. They fade in the fire.

JD: Congratulations, Yellow! You beat Orange in two easy rounds! Go back there and show them you won’t go down easily.
Yellow runs to the beach.
Brittney: We’re back! You just can’t get rid of us!

Kimberly: (Whispering to Layne) I guess they’re better than Orange.
They laugh and go to congratulate the Yellow team.

Brittney: *Yellow’s back and we’re back for good. We’re going all the way and we are going to win this thing!*

Next Time:
Three teams are left and there’s tension in the air (Shows Logan saying, “It’s just every team for itself now!”).
Yellow’s back with a vengeance (Shows Casper saying, “We’re going to win it! Red and Blue are going down!)
Plus, the battle for two pieces gets personal (Shows someone yelling, “I HATE YOU!”)

Logan and Kimberly: Teamwork, Courage, Leadership, Commitment, Knowledge
Jackson and Layne: Friendship, Heart, Luck
Casper and Brittney: Trust

I first have to say I love the series. But I liked the Orange team...You might wanna cut down on everyone finding out everything all in the same episode though. Thats all the negative I have to say anyway.

But seriously continue making eps. Their awesome and I relaly hope the Yellow Team wins cause their the underdogs and I dont like Red or Blue.
