Now, I don't want to suggest anyone was playing dirty, or cheating, but there were a few things that caught my eye.
Scooter pushed Max out of the way. Ok, so we did see a ball get pushed by someone's elbow in the high sierras, but this was more of a "get away!" and seemed a little more deliberate. The incident in the high sierras seemed more accidental.
Scooter had a 10 second wait before he could start, yet he blew past a lot of the contestants and actually finished rather strong. Once again, i'm not saying he cheated, but it would be interesting to know what happened.
Now, perhaps he took a real good look at the location of the poles before he was blindfolded and had a really good memory. We also don't know if the blindfolds were put on and then the players were lead to their starting spots, or they were at their starting spots when they were blindfolded.
Right at the end, Max was seen WAAAAAAAAY past the final pole, moving around, trying to find it. He put his hand up to his blindfold (eh?), and right after that, somehow, made a beeline straight for the final pole. |

I totally know what you're talking about with Max!!!!! I have always suspected that same thing, it definitely looks like he touched his blindfold right before he got the final pole. I was especially concerned about that because I really wanted Scooter to win that mission and turn the game around. |

I don't think he cheated. Max got close to the pole and touched his TIGHT blindfold, and didn't adjust it, he just touched it. Then he got to the pole. I was very happy Max did, I love Max and Jenna.. Didn't like Scooter. |

It would have been fun to have an Endurance 2 Reunion just to get their thoughts on that mission.
It was known that as soon as Max and Jenna came back, that set up a rivalry between Scooter and Max (just look at the final few moments of that episode.)
I sure hope there wasn't any cheating...I don't think there was any, but there were a few moments that did seem a bit suspect. |
