Ok, I was bored and decided to watch the whole Isaac and Jeszie arguement thing again (where they were argueing about who they were going to give the samadhi to) and noticed something: At the beginning of the arguement between Isaac and Jeszie, there's clearly no canteen strap around Isaacs left shoulder. Durring the shot where Jeszie says, "Buddy, buddy and you don't want to give it to blue." <You can see Isaac's left arm still and there's no canteen strap, then the shot immediately switches back to him and a canteen strap has magically appeared across his left shoulder!

Again: I was bored... just though it might be interesting.

He could have had it in his hand, then brought it up to his shoulder while Jeszie was talking.

And editing, they could have left out some portions of the conversations, portions in which Isaac put the canteen over his shoulder.

at the risk of ruining some of the "magic of television", that's a "reaction shot".

When there's using only one camera for an interview or to cover a conversation like that one, they can only film one person at a time, usually the speaker. So after the conversation/interview is over, they go back and film each person "listening" - shots of the interviewer nodding and looking interested to splice into when you were talking, and some of you listening to the interviewer who is now saying something completely different.

Usually a "continuity" person checks for major changes, like hats appearing/disappearing or (used to be more common) cigarettes re-lighting themselves.

If Isaac didn't have the canteen on him while they were having the arguement, I think it's just bad editing and the continuity person not doing their job... you'd have to think that in a reality-show like Endurance with many people to cover that they'd use more than one camera. Endurance is so full of bad editing... we practically find out who's the F2 in the first few previews. We all know that the producers don't care about things like this because they think we are all baffoons or something!

Hey you guys, I'm pretty sure I was holding it in my hand and then put it around my shoulder while the shot was on Jeszie, but ya seriously they edited out sooo much of the argument. We went for at least a good half an hour. It actually seemed like most of the day. And even after they stopped filming us we were arguing, all the way up to the big hill. Before they would film that part (the part where JD talks to us on the hill/island thing) we'd line up and wait for them to get ready for at least 10 minutes. And I remember arguing through that whole time.

note to future endurance players: bring a hidden camera to film all the missing stuff!
