General History:
Still young at 86 years in the lifetime of a vampire, Gabriel grew up in the city slums where life was usually short and depressing. Never knowing his father, Gabriel (known then as James) shared a small run down apartment with his mother until she died of a drug overdose when he was 17.
Living life mainly on the streets, Gabriel spent all his time doing odd jobs to make ends meet and got into fights...lots of fights with anyone who happened to cross his path. One fateful evening, Gabriel found himself in a seedy bar drinking his life away when he was approached by a beautiful woman who asked him to return to her place with him. Which, being a normal sexually active 25 year old male, he did. The woman, known only as Sylver, gave him the greatest night of his life as well as a kiss on his neck and an exchange of blood that would change his life forever...
Gabriel was now given his new name by Sylver, his previous name of James was lost forever like his previous life. Sylver taught him how to use his new abilities as a vampyre and how to hunt. She introduced him to other vampyres that dwelled among humans in the city and Gabriel found himself taking a fancy to the daughter of the vampyre coven leader. She was a pure creature of rare beauty and Sylver warned him that noone may ever touch her... but touch her Gabriel did, and more besides.
Furious at Gabriel's actions to his daughter, the leader had the other vampyres attack him but even though he was still a young vampire, Gabriel fought them off and killed some of them, ending there imortal existence. Gabriel foolishly took on the coven leader and was beaten. Only the pleading of the leader's daughter to spare Gabriel convinced her father to let Gabriel live, but banished him from the coven forever...
And so, Gabriel set out on his own for the first time in 50 years and traveled around.
He learned how to use swords when he encountered a group of all female vampyres in need of a mate and took a keen interest in the weapon.
Gabriel is still young and full of rage and in much need of teaching of the ways of Vampyrism. On his 86 year, his wanderings finally took him to a huge and forebidding castle. Somewhere deep within himself Gabriel, for the first time in both life as a human and unlife as a vampyre, felt like he was home.
