The black vapours appeared out of no where. Suspended in the air, twisting about by some unseen puppeteers strings. A tiny pin prick of a hole appeared and exploded silently into a portal, reaching far into the underbelly of the abyss. Angel stepped into the seemingly empty room the train of her gown flaring behind her. In the fireplace, flames soared, reaching towards her, beckoning her to dance with them and spread her power to the ceilings. Fire was her friend, and she his. They had a knack for feeding on each other, when the other needed it most. The negative shake of her head, softened with a smile, killed the flames back to their originality. There was only one thing on the Goddess of Shadows' mind at the moment. And that was reconnecting with her most beloved sister, the Goddess of Darkness, Casandra. The flames reached for her again, eagerly as she twirled past, but she paid them no mind. She was here. Finally ... she'd come home. |

Angel's boredom knew no bounds. So far it seemed as though this castle were empty. Devoid of life. She leapt high and landed on the mantle above the fireplace. Flame was sleeping now, deep inside the glowing embers, and was leaving her alone, for the time being. Angel's head rested in her paws, her tail wove itself tightly around her body and she closed her eyes, concentrating. "Casandra ..." Power built inside her and then pulsed outward, like a radiating beacon of light. If Casandra had not felt her presence before, surely she would now. A shadow moved to her left and Angel's eyes opened, glowing fiercely green in the darkness over the fireplace. "Who goes there!" |

Time was of the essence, giving me less to ponder and play within my mind as I enjoyed. I traveled aobut more and spent less within the walls of my castle having not much to keep me enlightened or even amused. I was coming across my lands when to feel a most familar presence, strong and powerfully known only to my own kin. One presence of this would only know of where to find me and gain access past my darkest of minion soilders. I have my brother here, destroyed my own twin, my father who knows if he made into the dimension I sent him for good.... "M'lady.. m'lady..." Came running like a hellhound hunting for food after months past with none. One of my minion soilders stood forth parading words to me as if someone most important arrived here. I nodded slightly as to jump from place and leap into my stedforth swift movements and headed into my castle like a transparent creature. "In there, m'lady" The next minion spoke soft enough and pointed into the room my guest sat ever so patiently waiting for me to greet. I poked my head around the corner of the room and saw the most beautiful sight knowing well I should have guessed right in the first place, shifting my form as well into the sightly beast of blackened shine she lay and pounced in a most playful manner as sisters would when to see each other for the first time since when we both could remember. We tumbled around till to lay and stare eye to eye as if to attack each other before our paws came to lay upon each and our heads side by side, our bodies just plopped and rested as if to find more comfort knowing we no longer had to search as we did for each other. |

Angel nuzzled her sister protectively, enjoying their moment alone. It was true that Casandra was the older sister, but Angel still felt the undying need to protect her with every breath. Playfully she headbutted her and lopped away as Casandra tried to swat her with an enormous paw. Laughing she crouched low, preparing for a pounce. "I come all this way, from the Abyss itself, and you don't even offer to feed me?" She leapt high and Casandra did the same, barreling at each other, they landed in a heap. |
