PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

General Appearance: Grey with dark black stripes. A long neck with a sleek body, not unlike the cats depicted by Egyptians (not sure what breed they are). Large ears, and to top it all off, a big, creepy grin.
Strengths: She is able to give a fair amount of pain with her claws, disappear at will and change into her humanoid persona. But her main strength is in giving advice to others.
Weaknesses: Litha isn't much of a fighter. She's quite lazy. Her main weakness... Catnip.
More: Litha has a habit of disappearing when people least want her to. And then they don't know if she's still there or not.

MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS

Current Goal/Purpose: Who the hell knows? She seems to hang around for the pure purpose of hanging around and annoying people who need help.
Talents: Litha is very wise, and if you are able to decipher what she says, you will benefit.
Inabilities: She seems to take everything literally. And she doesn't like the word "it" for some absurd reason. Also, Litha seems to have the inability to converse normally with people
Fears: Who would know? She always has that stupid grin on her face!
General Personality: Litha seems very lazy and annoying. That's all people usually see of her, aside from the fact that she is often approached for advice and help. Also, she is quite hauntly. She DEMANDS respect and refuses to talk to anyone if they do not treat her as such. Which is hard, as it's not uncommon for people to talk to Litha and NOT want to pummel her over the head.

HISTORIC BACKGROUND

General History: Cat, a small Cheshire Cat, was born into the circus many years ago. Soon after her birth, her parents were retired from the circus and sent to sanctuaries. Cat never had any real parents, instead she was raised by clowns, acrobats, lion tamers, sword swallowers, fire breathers and of course, the Ringmaster. The Ringmaster took special care of the young Cat and every night would allow her to sleep at the foot of his bed. He even would sometimes let her wear his hat in the circle. Because of this, some of the other animals referred to Cat as "the Ringmaster's pet." Contrary to what you might expect, Cat loved her work as a circus performer! She grew up with the trains, the tents, the screaming fans, the lights, the sounds and all that's good and glorious that comes with being part of the circus. Rarely would she think about what it would be like to run away and be free. Those kinds of thoughts would only be triggered by the "nonsense talk" of the elephants, who she would usually ignore. "What could be better than being in the circus?" she thought.

Cat was the only tiger under the big top, and because many of the animals were jealous of the special attention she received, she found it hard to make friends with them. But that was alright, the fans loved her! In the circle, Cat was a brilliant actress. Her roars, snarls and fake swings at the lion tamer would frighten the entire crowd, just as planned.

For years she traveled with the circus performing town to town. And every year the crowds got smaller and smaller. As the circus rolled on, malls, theaters, casinos, skate parks, and dance clubs were built... and families were starting to forget all about the big top. At first Cat took no notice of the dwindling spectators... until the Ringmaster grew stressed about money problems and soon became ill. Eventually the circus filed for bankruptcy and everything Cat had ever loved would soon come crashing down. One by one the performers left to go find new work, and one by one the animals were sold off to zoos. In the end it was only Cat and the poor old Ringmaster.

Like any good "pet", Cat stood by her owner until the very end. When the Ringmaster died Cat was devastated. She knew if she stayed where she was, people would come to take her away. She didn't want to go to a zoo or sanctuary. She wished that everything was just the way it was before... with the bright lights, the sound of cheering children, the smell of popcorn, the clowns, the unicyclists and the tightrope walkers, the lion tamer and the acrobats... the Ringmaster. But they all were gone. And now it was Cat's time to leave too. So she did what she had never dreamed of and ran away into the night unsure of where exactly she was going... or where she would end up.
