my soul is dark but should be light

my face it scares away with fright

if only they could see

the beauty with in me

i search and search

whilst on my perch

a ledge so high

touching the sky

a mate i seek

in this world so bleak

to stand with me

for all eternity

but this loving god

has already fortold

the future for me

can never be

i mourn my loss

not really giving a toss

i'll survive, day by day

watching my kids at play

when my time is up

i'll drink from this cup

and dream on forever

at life this god did sevour

watching over kids

and topping all gods bids

for they will never go do

what i went through

i wish them well

and to never dwell

i love you so

now it's time i must go

when your times over

come to me and let me cover

you, in warm hugs and kisses

cause your mummy misses

you both so much
