as they layed me down to sleep
i did not make a peep
soft padded walls
to drown my calls
silk cushioned floor
to soothe my core
dressed in red
i lay in my bed
sounds of words read from a book
they stop beside to take a final look
then they close the lid
into the ground i slid
feeling peace at last
from memories of my past
when i awaken in the dark
i will feed off those strolling in the park
by lady death
