Crystal Tears
The sun rises on a day of sorrow, she reaches into the empty space that was her love, she rises and walks down the stairs hoping to find him in there throne room and finds a messenger that holds only a shild and a roll of parchment, handing it to the lady her bows and walks out, she looks at the shild closeing her eyes as she opens the parchment and sinks to her knees reading.
My lady,
I must leave thee.
while i am gone let this gift serve to
remind thee of my return.
Tears falling to the floor she lay her hand on the shield and reads the words ingraved there.
My sword to protect thee.
Fire to warm thee.
The sea to wash thy tears away.
My heart to love thee.
My word to confert thee.
My honor to give thee hope.
My promus to them all.
Let thy dreams sore on silver wings
thy shall never be for as long as
you dream.
The women stand apone the waters edge looking out into the sun set she has seen many and yet her dreams remain her heart waits as the sands of time fall into nothingness her body fades to age, then to dust and as the gental breese blows the sands a shimmer of light caught by the last like of the setting sun there liy the crystal tears of a love strong to span the test of time.
