Falling isn't bad, it's when people see you that bothers me most.  I'm an old lady and technically a blonde so I've done some pretty stupid things in my life. I've come off my horse face first into the Salt River.  I've locked myself out of my vehicle with my grandchildren inside it. Both of them securely strapped in so they could not open the doors. But by far the dumbest thing I have done to date happened about 2 months ago. I had taken my hubby to visit with his doctor and then we went to the mall to look for some shoes for the grandson. Now I refuse to take my scooter so my hubby and I were both walking. They had turned the mall all around . I parked where I always used to and we went into the Mervyns entrance. Then we started looking in all the shoe stores and stopping and looking at tools that we don't need and after we found out that no one carried what we wanted we went out the Mervins exit. Oops. Well it was one of the exits but not the right one. It was facing west and I was parked in the North lot. I had hubby sit down because he was totally exausted. I told him. "stay here I will go get the truck and come pick you up. I'm always lost inside a building but never lost outside. Well after about 1/2 an hour I dicided that I would go outside and walk around to my truck. It was a very long walk but I finally came to the right lot and to make sure I set off the car alarm . Yep there it was. All that stood between me and the truck was a long walk around a man-made hill or walk down it. I really didn't think too much about it. After all I had climbed many a hill in my life and back down safely. so I started down. It was a little steeper then I thought and I skidded a couple of times. I kept telling myself , you can do it. and leaning backwards so I wouldn't fall , and praying that noone was watching me. I made it to the bottom on my feet. I got to my truck and picked up my husband. On the way home I told myself that never again in this lifetime would I try one of the easy things I did when I was young.  Oh and about falling, I came home late one night from the valley and I parked next to the steps and got out of my vehicle. turned to go upstairs and fell face first on the cement steps. It was after midnight so I knew that even if I called no one would hear me. After a few minutes I picked myself up. gathered up my packages and went inside. I keep telling my doctor that the reason I don't break anything is because I'm fat. He keeps telling me you are not fat. stop falling.
