The stranger was badly wounded. He could barely walk, every second a concerted effort just to stay conscious.  It was the middle of the night, and he could hardly see where he was going.  Anything could happen in the wilderness; he could be attacked by bandits or wild animals and he would be unable to defend himself.

Or perhaps...THEY...would find him again.

His vision faltered, and his head throbbed.  He thought he sighted a small, run down, and nearly abandoned inn in front of him.  It looked old and weatherbeaten, and looked as if it had not served customers for years.  It was a sad thing...a place of great happiness and peacefullness reduced to such a terrible status.  He pressed on, limping towards the front door, and applying pressure to his side (where blood was gushing forth).  Perhaps here he would die, alone in the wilderness, miles from anything, in an abandoned inn.

But if it was abandoned, perhaps they would still have some left over liquor.  That would ease the pain shortly before he died.

Upon reaching the door, he focused his mind.  With all the strength left in his body, he gave the door a knock.  And than another.  He attempted to give it a third, but than collapsed to the ground, slowly bleeding to death.  If someone didn't help him, he'd be dead in a matter of minutes he thought --- shortly before slipping into unconsciouness.

"Brandi Mordecai.  Most just call me Andi.  Nice to meet you, Eros. "

Her hand returned to the bottle on the counter, and her fingers tapped lightly against the glass. Her deep blue eyes wandered off Eros, and now to the bar.  She didn't really look hard, for fear of snooping where she didn't belong.

"Do you know where the glasses are?  I don't plan on drink the whole bottle... That could be bad. "

Andi chuckled.  For all she knew the glasses couldv'e been right beside her.  But she had a tendency to not find what she was looking for on purpose. It was always by chance or accident she'd stumble across useful items.  She was sure if Eros didn't show her, she'd certaintly find them eventually.  When she wasn't looking for them.

"And would you like some as well? I've got.."

She didn't rightly remember what she'd picked.  She raised the bottle to take a look at the label, and read, "Ah, Scotch." Since she had the bottle already raised, she motioned to him in offering.

~His silent vigil continued for all of five seconds. Jerkily, and suddenly, he moved from his out of the way area. Had there been any thought, feeling or emotion within him, he might wonder why he was acting so strangely. But then again, it was Wraith. Even this was normal. He moved for the bar, keeping one eye on the seat before him and one twisted right around to watch the fire. Taking an uncomfortable seat, his head snapped around to watch some more and wait for the perfect moment.~

Eros leaned over the bar, picking a glass from the shelf they sat on.  He put it on the bar infront of her.  He pulled a few blonde strands of hair out of his face and looked at Brandi.

"There's a glass.  And no thank you, recovering alcoholic."

He looked around, he wondered if he could get away with a glass, but decided against pushing his luck this evening.  Fates had a tendancy to conspire against him.

:: A small fiery cat leaped out of the hearth and sat for a moment licking its fur and flicking excess flames from its long tail. The cat paused and seem to stand, while standing it grew to the size of a young woman and the flames upon its body extinguised to reveal a young woman with strikeingly pale skin and unnatural neon green eyes that glowed against slitted pupils. She wore simply a hunter green dress, corset and a black cloak over her shoulders. She pulled the hood back and let lose her tumbles of flaming red hair and looked about speaking softly in a purr like voice::

"mum?"

~Realms above, the creature stirred. It was time. The silence would be broken as once more it would be brought into this world~

~Wraith stood, leapt the bar in a swift, beastial like motion and went into the back room, his old hiding place. There, in safety, the shell cracked, falling to peices like broken glass. Yet there was no sound. It simply faded away. Out of the shell emerged something new, yet familiar.~

~Out of the backroom, flashing a grin, came Wraith Rilithil, the useless sorcerer extraordinaire. He tilted his akubra hat, adjusted his sheep skin jacket and strolled out around the bar in leather boots, nodding a cheerful hello to those about him.~

Well, looks like there's life in the old girl yet. How 'bout we get a party started?

"Ah, well, suit yourself.  Thank you for the glass, Eros."

Her gloved hand wrapped around the glass Eros pulled out, and she tipped the bottle of Scotch towards the gaping container.  The liquid streamed out of the neck of the bottle, crashing at the bottom of the glass, and soon filling into a pool.  Andi pulled the bottle back up once the glass was half full.

By this time a cat had leaped out of the fireplace and turned into a young looking woman.

This place was certaintly filling up with people, she thought, Perhaps I was wrong in assuming it's been untouched for so long..

She saw the strange man trying to hide run out into the back room, and not too long after come back as someone else.

How.. strange..

Her gloved hand gripped the glass protectively, and lifted it to her lips.  She took a generous sip, shook her head in a slight shiver, and returned the glass to the bar counter.  Her hands searched over her old and worn uniform to try and smooth out the largest wrinkles, and dust off the dried on crust of mud on her leg.  It wasn't too long after observing the sudden distractions that she returned her attention to Eros.

"How long have you been here?" She asked curiously.

If he'd been there long, she could ask if this sort of company in here was normal..

~receiving no response from either of the strangers, she frowns deeply and turns to head back to the inn. She'd not sure she trusts either of them yet, but she does trust the tigers to alert her to any trouble, or simply to take care of it themselves if the need arises.

She comes back into the inn through the back door and glances around with a faint smile before setting herself down on a barstool, remembering old times~

From: SiricSent: 8/10/2005 12:55 AM
Siric, tired from a long and trying day, enters the tavern behind the woman. Once inside, she takes a good look around. The bare is in one corner. There is a pretty young lady sitting there (possibly drunk) but Siric doesn't feel like socializing. For once.
The rest of the crowd is a strange collection of characters. The only one she doesn't feel nervous about is a cheerful man in a sheepskin coat. His smiles seem to remind of home. Siric can feel the eyes of many falling on her. She should say something....quickly...

"Hi. Um... It's nice and warm in here. I hope there's room for one more."

Siric flashes a brilliant (but nervous) smile at the room.

Eros thought about that a moment, considering many things.  He shifted his weight a bit, making himself more comfrotable.

"Well, it's been a while.  Couple years I'd say."

He looked over at Myranda and flashed her a smile, then a wink.

"But by the ancestors, it seems like forever..."

"Oh, I see.  Er.. Ancestors?"

Andi raised a brow, but shook her head.  Her deep blue eyes glanced to Myranda, then to the woman who had just entered right after.  More people were here.

"Actually nevermind."

Andi sluffed off whatever questions she had, and smiled right before the glass raised to her lips again.  Another generous sip was taken, and a steady sigh emitted shortly after she swallowed.

What a nice drink.. Good friend, Scotch..Always by my side.

:: Seeing Myranda return she walked over and took a seat next to her not entirely sure if her mother would be pleased or not to see her.::

Davius believed he upset too many characters within the inn, (and was even momentarily banned by the innkeeper's husband!) and began his journey to the nearby town of New Hope.  He left a simple note on the back door, saying

"Thank you for your hospitality and saving my life, fair lady.
I should hope i get to repay the favor some day."

Upon hearing no response, Siric followed her nose to the buffet, which was stalked with the most delicious foods imaginable. They were simple meals, but to her, they were more wonderful then the food of kings. She grabbed a chicken leg and returned to the main room.
Siric made her way over to the nearest couch and plopped down. This seemed like a nice enough place. It was very warm here, no snow, not like home at all. She could walk bare foot all she wanted. This of course brought her attention back to her bare feet which were covered in mud.
Hopefully no one would notice...
She smiled to herself again and sunk deeper into the comfort of the couch. Her body ached from the long journey and now her head was in pain too.
Siric closed her eyes and chewed on her meager meal.

~sees Eros's grin and smirks. She didn't hear the first part of the conversation, but from the look on his face she can guess well enough. She opens her mouth to say something but is interrupted. Turning to Kit with a bright grin, she reaches over to hug her tightly~

Kit! How have you been? Where have you been?

:: She smiled wide with a look of relief and returned her mothers hug trying not to wince::

'lo mum, ive missed you to. Ive been very well thank you. I hope your the same? How are the kids? all 7 of em. :: smirks:: Ive been here and there, Mostly at my Inn with Sami but occationally i have to leave to have meetings with our Allies. Check up on a few things..... and the usual stuff like that.

:: She made a point of keeping her cloak rather close to her body to hide slow healing wounds from her mother, particularly her right hand which bore a scar upon the palm. She thought for a moment wondering if this attempt was in vain as her mother was a powerful, respected healer::

Im sorry i havent visisted sooner one thing after another delayed me.
