Endi grinned and went out from behind the bar, heading to her wondow seat. Myr had allowed her to install it after a very minimum amount of begging on Endi's part.  She was actually feeling a bit good this morning, with very few lingering feelings of loss.  But there were the nightmares, she thought, her smile slipping a bit.  Crazed flashes of memory, possibly, of screaming arguments and physical blows.  And the ripping pain of her heart.

Endi shook her head, dislodging those feelings from her mind.  She stared out into the sunny yard and smiled, seeing Elie in her cub form, batting at butterflies.  It would be a good day, Endi thought.  becauses she would make it that way for her daughter.

*Out of the shadows of the tress comes a slender form hooded, striding tiredly towards the inn. The figure is loaked in a long black velvety cape that exposes nothing to the eye. It walks up to the inn and slides in quickly. the shifts upward for a mere second and then back down again. The person walks over to the woman in the window seat and stops just before her.*

" Hello Endari"

Endari looked from the window to the cloaked figure, her brow furrowing slightly as she tried to make out the person's face.  Whyen it dawned on her who stood before her, she shot up and embraced her.

"Shayla!  It's about damn time..."

*hugs her sister in return, throwing her cloak off to reveal her long dark black hair, pale skin, bright red lips, and slender body*

"What do you mean 'it's about damn time'? Do you know how far I've had to travel just to get within a day's journey of here? Bout damn time my ass! You should count yourself lucky I even came."

*she lets go of her sister and sits her beat-up leather bag down next to a chair that she pulled up, and takes a seat*

"Well my dear sister, tell me has your number of husbands stayed the same or increased since I left you last?"

*a smirk rolls across her face as she looks to her sister for a response*

The light that sparked in Endi's eyes at seeing her sister died an abrupt death as her face went carefully blank.  Endari curled herself back in her window seat, her eyes going back out to her daughter playing in the flowers.  Her white fur shone brightly, a spotlight in the garden and Endi didn't take her eyes from her.

"The same..." she murmured, her voice trailing off.  "Elie's upset.  She refuses to shift into her human form.  I told her that Jeb was gone.  Which is true, to a point I suppose."  She looked back at her sister.  "Jeb has become Grath once more."

*the smirk that came so quickly to her face vanishes just as quickly. she gets up from her chair and sits next to endi, looking out at her neice playing outside.*

"Oh Endi I'm sorry for both you and Elie. When did you find out about Jeb?"

Endari sighed and shook off the mood.  She tried a smile that fell short of being true.

"He came in here one night.  Grath.  I guess he wanted to rub it in my face."

She tried to shrug it off, but that wasn't happening either.  She tried for a change of subject.

"What about you, sister dear?  What brings you here? Has your quest for our father finally ended?"

Dare she hope that her sister had given up and was ready to settle down?

"Well actually I have come back to ask you to come with me.You see I did find our father and where his kingdom is, but the ...*sighs* bad news I bring is that he is being held captive by a woman named Brianne. An evil woman she is, now I'm no angel, we both know that, but she puts me to shame. She's placed herself next to our father as his new wife. From the first moment I saw her I knew she had a hidden motive, she's shifty. Father won't believe anything I say, he says he's in love and that he's happy but there's just something different about him. When I walk through the kingdom everyone tells me of the woman who has put a spell on father, his whole demeanor has changed from a good king to someone who nevers comes out of the castle, he stays cooped up in the castle with her all day and all night like a hermit. I don't understand and ...and I need your help."

*finally takes a breath and looks to her sister with a bit of unease, she has never liked asking anyone for help before especially her little sister*

Endari frowned deeply, taking in all of this slowly.  Their father was alive?  All this time?  And he never made any attempt to find them, to contact them?  Her jaw tightened unconsciously, and she fisted her hands.  Then she realized her sister had said something about a spell.  She sighed and nodded.

"I'll make the arrangements we'll need.  And I need to ask Myranda to keep an eye on Elie for me."

She got real quiet and then looked at her sister.

"This is going to get really complicated.  Why is it you can't ask me to help you on the easy quests?"

* she looks at her sister then nods to the door*

"Come on lets go talk about this. I have much more to tell you"

* Endi nods and gets up and heads for the door along with Shayla.*

Dorna couldn't help but smirk when she said 'love letter' with a light chuckle he said "you would only be so lucky endi" he sighed when he noticed that myr pushed the magically altered water away. he nodded knowing only when myr was handed a cup of 'wine' whether real or not would she decided she no longer wanted it. he went back to his thoughts again. finally his mind wandered back to an event that had happened years and years ago. the day he had decided to travel instead of follow in his father's footsteps. in his mind he wondreed about how different his life would have been... how easy and how much less he would've experienced. he was still thinking when another figure entered the room, in his aimless wanderings he didn't really pay attention until he noticed endi jump up and hug this newcomer. he began to pay close attention to them. upon the utterance of magic he stood and walked to them following behind them as they went "take me along i am a master of magic and i am also an excellent swordsman. besides that i haven't so much as raised my sword since i arrived here, my blade is itching for some action" he thought it better to ask before just going even though he would keep following them even if they told him not to come along

* looks to the stranger behind them, then looks to Endi with a raised brow of inquiry*

"A friend of yours? Nevermind it doesn't matter. You can come along just so long as you don't get in the way. Understand?"

Endari threw a look over her shoulder.  She nodded to him, and the odds looked a little better.

He saunters in humming a tune about an "elven maiden of questionable morals". He stands about 9 feet tall and weighs about 500 lbs. his clothes are rumpled like they have been slept in ( which they have as a matter of fact), his tuft of hair is in a state of disrray. He is in fact (( for those who have never met him)) a troll.  He carries a large somewhat soiled sack, that drips grease. He beelines it for the bar.
