Endari had gone into New Hope and gathered the few things she'd take on a trip this long.  She and her sister usually had no problems in finding food and fresh water on their journeys, but there was no harm in being prepared.  She stashed it all in her bag along with her brazier and healing balms and dust, because she never knew if they'd be needed as well.

Endi had gone to the tribal encampment, putting her second in charge until she returned.  She had no doubts about the man's ability, and maybe this would give her the reaons she needed to allow him to take over her spot as Regalo and leave her to be Shaman.  The tribe was still pulling for her to wed, but Endari wasn't having that, not at all.

Looking around her room, she made sure she wasn't forgetting anything.  Then she slung her bag over her head and across her body, and went across the hall to Myr's room.  It was still early, and she regretted waking her, but it couldn't be helped.  She knocked lightly and waited for her to come to the door.

~Myranda hears the knock and sits up slowly, carefully climbing out of the bed so as not to wake Eros. She has a vague thought that maybe Saera got impatient and floated herself to the door, but dismisses it, as no doubt Saera would have screamed for her mentally if she'd needed something. Sliding her feet into a pair of slippers and tossing a robe over her shoulders, she makes her way to the door and peeks out. On seeing Endai there she frowns, immediately alert and concerned. She steps out into the hall and closes her bedroom door behind her~

What is it? What's going on?

"I have to leave for a little while.  It's a long story, and I know you'll want to get back to Eros.  I just wanted to know if you could take care of Elie while I'm gone?  I don't know if it'll be a few weeks or a month."

She shifted on her feet.

"Or if I'll make it back at all..."

*Shayla grabs her belongings and a quill and paper. She writes down a few scribbles then lays the quill down hesitantly. She sighs and then lifts her bag over her left shoulder and grabs her sword, sheathes it then takes one last look around her room to see if she forgot anything. With a last long look she walks out the room and closes the door. Walks down the hall and out the front door where she will meet Endi.

It's a calm, grey dreary day. Not cool at all but not blistering humid either. Shayla waits for her sister and new companion at the entrance to the inn, hoping they will not be too long for the journey is long and tedious. Not too mention once the journey is over there is still the matter of dealing with Brianne and her father.Shayla just hopes that her father's life will not be taken in the end.She sighs and waits.*

This trip dorna knew was important to endi and shayla so he decided to actually prepare for the trip by bringing more than just 2 weeks (for one person) worth of lembas bread, so he decided to bring 2 months (for one person) worth of it, luckily for him lembas bread is very light. he decided not to take chances and he began by dumping his wineskins something he thought he would never do in his lifetime and by filling those and his and his water skins full of water. "five skins not bad... too bad for me that four of 'em were filled with alcohol." he shrugged that off he walked out of the kitchen where most of his preparation had started when he noticed endi walking upstairs. "going to say her goodbye's i guess" he watched her go up and he dropped his bag by the front door, all he had left to do was arm himself. he held his finger up to his lips and let out a loud shrill whistle, almost instantly a small fairy-like creature appeared. he motioned to a wall and the creature floated up to it. "i know you don't want to but i need you to open up". the creature nodded and with a puff it became a door, or rather a cabinet door in the wall. he reached in and he began pulling out various sized sheaths and scabbards, as he pulled each one out he strapped some where on his body. a greatsword on his back, two longswords in hip sheaths,a pair of shortswords on his shins, a bow and quiver also on his back, and throwing daggers lined across the front of his chest and abdomen. he had traveled for many years armed in such a way, when he came here he only brought a long sword in a scabbard, which he now had strapped to his hip. "okay you can go home" the creature returned to its fairy-like shape and disappeared. he walked back to the door and put on his pack on. he noticed that endi still had not come down from upstairs, so he decided to go upstairs to bring her down. surprisingly enough for those who watched him, he movements were not impeded by the large array of weapons he carried along, he had traveled for years with them and he was completely adjusted to the weight. he looked left and looked right, he sniffed at the air and listened closely, she had gone to myranda's room. he walked slowly down that direction making deliberate and spaced steps so she would know he was approaching. he stopped a short way away from them then he realized what endi was doing. so he waited knowing that this was one of the hardest things she had ever done. he decided he would follow her downstairs when she was ready.

I don't suppose you'll tell me where you're going, then?

~shakes head~

Yes, of course I'll watch her. You knew I would. Just be careful, won't you?

Endari smiled.  "Always."

She kissed her sister's cheek and turned, lifting a brow when she saw Dorna waiting at the top of the stairs for her.  She'd kissed her daughter goodbye already, a futile effort on her part for her daughter still was not giving up her silence.  Endi smiled to Dorna, though it was a bit strained.

"Ready?  Let's get this show on the road."

She descended the stairs and met up with her sister, grabbing her cloak and stuff it too in her bag.

"Do we have everything?"

*Shayla sighs as she sees her two companions for the trip come down the stairs. SHe quickly grabs her bag and her weapon, then wraps her cloak around her. She looks at her sister and tries to fake a smile hoping it will lighten the mood she knows her sister is in. For a brief moment regret fills her because she knnows that she has put her sister in danger and there could be serious reprocusions if something were to go wrong. Shayla thought about that for a second and shook it off, she promised herself that she would not fail. At any cost.*

"I'm ready if you are."
