~Myranda follows the roads in the general direction she travelled from so long ago. Every once in a while, she stops to check the water, calling up the image of the castle to judge its direction and make sure they're going the right way. Somewhere around midday the towers of the castle start to appear over the tops of trees, pointing up at the sky with viscious, unnatural clawlike fixtures. Her horse balks suddenly, backing up a few steps, then rearing and nearly throwing her from the saddle before she can calm him down with quiet words.~ It's not far now. The horses can feel something. I'm betting his magic is still working there. |

- he climbed up onto his own horse with out as much as a whince, but you wouldn't have know that from the shearing pain that shot up and down the side of his body. He didn't want Myranda to worry about him. He'll be fine, hopefully - "Of course I'm right Myranda, though, in this instance I wish I wasn't. Do you want me to ride ahead of you to check out the nearest village for a healer or would you prefer me to stick with you?" |

~The thought of him leaving her even for a little while makes her wince almost as much as the pain in her side had, and she shakes her head vigorously~ No, stay with me. I'll be fine for a while. I can still breathe alright, and the herbs are helping. ~She knees her horse to get it moving, just in case he would have decided to leave her there anyway~ |

- he smiled and nodded, he lead the way back, hoping he memorized it correctly - "I like that idea better anyway, we'll check the villages on the way back, if those herbs wear off, tell me, I have more."
- he squeezed the horse with his knees and pulled up beside her - "I'm gonna let you in on a well know secret Myranda.. " - he leaned over and pretend whispered in her ear - "I love you" |

~She smiles warmly at him, resisting the urge to reach over and hug him, figuring that wouldn't work very well on horseback.~ I love you too. More every day. ~She gestures ahead of them on the road, where it splits~ That's the way we came from, so we go this way. ~She turns the horse onto the smaller road, her eyes still on him. Just seeing him seems to steady her.~ |

- he figured she needed to hear that, and he was right. She cheered right up, kinda. He followed the path down the way she pointed. He turned and looked at her, smirking - "I know, I know... I'm absolutely ravishing and you love to look at me, but pay attention to where you're going. I don't want to pick you up after you run into a low tree branch" - he couldn't help but grin as he looked foreward to the path, practicing what he preaches - |

~She snorts a laugh and turns her eyes foreward~ What, you don't want to play the dashing hero and carry me off in your arms? ~She makes a sound of mock disappointment, ruining it with a chuckle that causes her to wince~ Some more of those herbs might be nice. Can I just chew them? |

- he shook his head, laughing - "I'm not a dashing hero, I'm a smart ass cave dweller.." - he reached behind him, pulling out a small bag of the herbs - He reached over, handing her the bag. "Don't take too many, they can be addictive.." |

~She nods her understanding and scoops out a fingerfull of the herbs, grimacing as she chews them~ They taste better in water. ~Up ahead of them, small buildings start to appear~ There, the village. I don't know where we'd find a healer, though. |

- he nodded and rode ahead of her, even though she didn't want him to. He wanted to make sure it was safe. He got to talking to a few of the villagers, he waited at the edge of the village, a small frown on his face. He waited for her to catch up with him, hoping she wasn't pissed at him for running off - |

~She watches him go on ahead, actually having expected him to do just that. She starts to spur her horse on a little faster, then regrets the faster movement and slows it down again. Sighing softly as she approaches and sees the look on his face, she forces a smile~ Nothing? |

- he made a noncommital face and sighed - "They have no healers trained in magic, but it's getting late. We won't reach the Inn by night fall. I don't want you out in the dark. I feel we should stay here and let their healers tend you until morning. I could be wrong about the punctured lung, but..." - he shook his head, looking down at the ground - "I don't want to push my luck, I don't want to lose you" |

~She sighs again and nods, handing him back the bag of herbs~ That's probably another good idea. Alright. Did you find out where we can stay? ~She groans as she slides down off the horse's back, almost losing her feet as she hits the gorund~ |

- he nodded, jumping off the horse and sliding up beside her - "There's an inn and stables, the innkeeper knows you from your in. Seems you allowed him and his family free night's stay once so he's repaying the favor. Here, let me help you." - he couldn't wait to get rid of her and rest that shoulder of his, he also was going to need a bit o' healing himself - "Shall we then?" |

I look forward to seeing them again, then. ~She forces another smile and looks around, spotting a building large enough to be an inn. She nods and heads that way, leaning on her horse for support instead of him. She'd seen how his shoulder looked before he'd wrapped it again. She leaves her horse out front and goes inside, finding a place to sit down, grateful to be off a moving creature again. They both get some healing and some rest, then be on their way home soon.~ |

- he walked in with her, his shoulder had started to bleed a bit. They both got the healing they so badly needed and a good night's rest, which they also needed. They didn't leave the afternoon, they both slept about 16 hours each. They left and headed back to the inn, in hopes of more complete healing and a really stiff drink.. atleast on Eros' part - |
