Endari set a steady but not exhausting pace, mostly because of Dorna.  Usually, she'd take to her tiger form and she and her sister would move five times as fast, but Endi thought Dorna's sword was a good reason to slow their journey to allow him time to rest and acclimate himself to their pace.

Endi was at home in the forests and it showed, her movements automatic and her keen ears worked as a sort of radar for any animal that might be of a danger to them.  She morked them around a family of wild boar, not wanting to tangle themselves in any sort of territorial battle.  They still had a long way to go.

She let her sister guide her, showing her which ways to go, and Endari was anxious to get to their destination, to get the answers she'd wanted for the last 20 odd years.  And she would get them, she'd see to it.

OOC: sorry i was just going off information i had, i should've asked. but i just took information i recieved from other posts like this one: "Not just the throne, though it is nice being Queen, but the elemental magics flowing from him are more than I need to feed off of him for eternity..".  being a magic user he would've felt the drain more than the both of you.  anyway he was just protecting his friends, loyalty is one of his biggest traits and weaknesses. making him the hero was not an intended goal, even though that is what it looks like.

dorna felt himself get pulled into the recesses of his mind. from where he stood he could see out of his own open eye like a large window. "what the..." he looked left and right.  he sat down with his back to the window "oh great.... i knew me trying to be a hero was a stupid idea. i hope the girls are okay it was more for them to get away than anything else. the small amount of energy i was able to harness shouldn't last too long" he got up and began to explore his own mind.he stopped as he suddenly felt a surge of fire an element familiar to his body. "fire... too bad i don't have that fire-absorbing amulet. at least some of my magical stuff will protect my body from damage caused by the fire itself" with that he went back to his explorations

*Shayla, feeling a lot stronger than before having fed off of Endi, saw Dorna leave, shrigged her shoulders and went straight for Brianne. Her sword in unsheathed and in her hand. She gathered all her strength and charged her stepmother and ran her blade straight threw her. Brianne groaned in agony, somehow the power flowing through her centered itself on her blade and when it sliced through Brianne's flesh it did more than just cut her open it touched the very center of her magic. Brianne fell to the ground in pain clutching the open would with her hands, her blood spilling everywhere. Brianne closed her eyes for a second then opened them wide and yelled, " Why can't I heal?!"  Shayla then stood over her stepmother and told her, "The reason you cannot heal is because with me feeding off of Endi we combined both of our powers, the powers our father AND mother gave us. No matter how strong your magic is, our family's bond is stronger. So what you once destroyed now destroys you. And with that Brianne withered away. Shayla ran over to her sister and gathered her up into her arms, granted it took her a second to lift her limp body, (he he he) and carried her to the river and threw some water onto her sister's face to revive her. She waited for her sister to come to.*

OOC:  Ok, what I think happened is that Shay missed the very beginning of the post where Dorna said that he "felt himself get pulled into the recesses of his mind" which I'm assuming that means he was unconscious.  She read "went back to his explorations" and assumed you had left the sisters to die on the road.))

Endari groaned and came to, looking up at her sister with weary eyes.

"Is she dead?  Can we go see father now?"

It had been decades since she'd last seen him, and she wanted nothing more than to see him again.  But now, her body felt heavy and weak, and sleeping for the rest of eternity sounded pretty damn good just now.

OOC: i can see how she would've gotten mixed up, my apologies next time i'll be more clear as to what is happening in my posts. i've probably been nothing more than a pain for my last few posts. again sorry

IC: dorna's body lay still, on the cold grass the fire that once surrounded him now quickly dying much like the one who had brought them into existence.

though his body did not move one inch his mind seemed to move a mile a minute as his conciousness was trapped in an almost nightmare like state. and to him it was like one of those cliche nightmares. he was running, to god knows where, but he didn't seem to be moving at all anymore. finally he stopped "wait i am the master of my own mind i should be able to whatever i want." he hoped the girls would come try and wake him up soon he was rather tired of wandering through his own mind.

Shayla looked down at her sister and smiled, she sent her a mental note, "Yes sister dear, she is dead, for good. We no longer have to worry about her breaking up our family. We can go see father now. I'm sure he will be happy to see us both." Shayla let her sister go for a moment and checked on Dorna.  She threw some water on him to extinguish what was left of the flames, shook him a little and hoped he would not be too harmed by the actions of her stepmother.

Endari got up and walked over to Dorna, her limbs heavy with the loss of energy through the draining of her blood.  She nudged him with the toe of her boot, afraid that if she bent down, she might not be able to get back up again.

"Dorna, get your bloody arse up off the ground and go back to GTI.  It's over.  I just want to see my father and sleep for about a month..."

She figured a straight out demand was better than trying to coax him awake.

Dorna's conciousness continued to wander through his own memories and thoughts. to him it had seemed like hours had passes until finally he noticed the flames that coated his body were now out. "well i think i'm being helped now if only i could find my way out of here...." he continued to move as he felt a sudden kick to his body's side that sent him tumbling. a few more kicks made him continue to roll about uncontrollably until finally he conveniently skidded to a stop right next to a door.

"well i guess this is my way out." he opened the door and at that very second his eyes opened with a very tired, beat-up, and groggy look "five more minutes, ma.... i don't wanna go to school today...." he grinned and tried to stand knowing his joke was uncalled for at the moment, as he stood he noticed that his right leg had a raher large piece of wood sticking out of it "well that's gonna hurt in the morning" he braced himself against a nearby tree. "it must've hit me while i was unconcious.. probably from my stunt with the element blade and the carriage.." he tried to examine the injury, a small pool of blood had built up where he was lying but the bleeding seemed to have stopped "i should be okay provided my leg isn't broken. but uh... i can't really fly like this. well  you know become a bird and fly....." he looked in the direction of the carriage then in its immediate vicinity, "well did i kill her? or did my stunt just do the opposite of what i had hoped it would..?" he didn't really give them time to talk as he had had plenty of time to think while he was unconcious. he peered again at the immediate vicinity for his weapons that he had dropped during the battle. "if we're going to leave we should collect my stuff... and if you want to see your father i'd like to meet him as well, provided its okay with you.. i'm sure i've probably been no more than just a hassle since i joined you so if you want me to i'll go back to the golden tiger"

*Shayla looks up  at her sister then down at Dorna, smiles and then collapsed to the ground, her energy finally leaving her. She sat on the ground for a moment and collected herself. The battle had sent her threw a whirlwind of emotions and actions. Finally able to talk to spoke to the others.*

"Well I think we all deserve a good vacation. Endi, I'm sorry if I drained you too badly, it was unintentional. Dorna, thank you for all that you have done for me and Endi, we both appreciate it. Now that Brianne is dead father will be feeling better than he has in awhile. And I'm sure he will want some answers as to why his bride was killed by his two daughters and a stranger. I think we owe him that much. So Dorna if yu are up to the short journey, than by all means come along and we will feast tonight at father's castle."

*Shayla stood up slowly, fearing that if she got up too soon she would fall back down. She grabbed Dorna's hand and lifted him up to his feet. She glanced at her sister and offered a smile. Then she took her two companions' hands and set off for her father's castle up the road. Feelings of relief and happiness overwhelmed her as they made the last little bit of their long journey.Shayla knew that things would be okay from here on out.*

*Shayla and he party make their way up to her father's castle, and are welcomed by a large group of guards. All of them are standing with their swords and pikes pointed at them. The three stop and look around, they are surrounded.*

"I want to see my father immediately. My name is Shayla Brahmus, I am the king's daughter."

"I am sorry Princess, the King does not want to speak with you, he has asked us to escort you to the dungeon. You are being charged with the murder of the Queen. I suggest that you comply with the King's request or you will face another charge of  treason." A pointy little man said to the group with a grin on his face. He was holding a scroll in his hands, reading their charges.

*Shayla looked directly at Endari with a puzzled look, and sent her a mental question, "What in the bloody hell is going on?"

Dorna followed the whole way hobbling behind the two girls saying nothing. when they reached the castle he knew something was up by the way people looked at them as they passed.  as they hobbled up the steps to the gate, his instincts and years of training yelled danger to him so he prepared a wall of force to encase the three of them at the first sign of danger. he watched as they were surrounded by guards and he waited, he could spring the spell or let the girls know what he was doing, he chose the latter. he concentrated, his red stone glowing as he sent them a mental message

'move in closer to me.. there's not much i can do to fight with this injury but i can help you. i'm going to use a spell called wall of force to protect us. unless one of them is a spellcaster we shouldn't have to worry about them breaking through it.'

he waited to see if they moved closer and he cast the spell and he spoke quietly to them "my injury is wearing on my energy so we'd better think of a plan and fast"

Endari froze on the spot, staring at the guards.  She answered her sister, though with, ~The spell must not have been broken with the crazy woman's death like we thought~

Endi closed the distance between her and Dorna. ~Don't harm them, Dorna.  We'll just make a stand until they go for father~

To Shayla, she messaged, ~He'll have to see us if we make a stand, won't he?~

Dorna looked around then he leaned close and whispered "I'm not going to try harm anyone in my condition. so no worries about that"

He watched silently preparing a few spells should they have the need to escape. he knew that it would be best to keep silent in this situation and let the girls handle this, they were in fact in familiar territory.

he looked each of the guards directly in the eye, some looked back and others averted their gaze. he knew the ones who averted their gaze would run if he made a big enough show for them. something had made his mind click into motion about how they could escape because somehow he knew that would be the best option for now.

" this is your show girls just let me in on anything you come up with"

"Well this is just great, you know I didn't go through all that to kill her and then have to kill all of you too. I just want my father back." Shayla told the guards. She was just about at nerves end. She had had a hard enough time killing her witch of a stepmother and now it looked like she was going to hav to kill more people jusst to see her beloved father. Shayla took a deep breath and and darted for the closest guard to her. She struck him in the throat killing him instantly. She went for one after another, slash after slash she took each one down with one blow. Her anger had gotten the better of her and she wasn't stopping until she reached her father.

"eh, shay, you won't... oh screw it" he let the spell drop just before shay let her attacks loose, he just watched the carnage as her instincts seemed to take over, he thought he was a one man army. he pulled back and smacked a fleeing guard in the face with the make-shift crutch he had been using. "ow ow ow ow ow" he bounced around a bit trying to stay off his hurt leg. he ducked out of the way, abd he broke the crutch. he quickly fashioned himself a splint. he tested it glad that the splint helped him walk better than the crutch. he came back to where the fighting was and it seemed that shay was on her way up to the castle he followed. he killed those who hadn't died from shay's attacks, most were begging to be put out of their misery so he did just that. he shrugged and continued following
