How to make Background Colour Tables..

Click on the 'table' icon
 
When it appears..click on Background
 
Then click on a colour...
 
Then click on INSERT TABLE
 
It should look like this...
 
   
   
 

 
 
 
 

This is what it should look like after you have clicked on the bacground colour...at this point you click on INSERT TABLE..and get this...

 

   
   

You can use it to put pics etc in...lol

   

 Add Text Here!

  

 

If you dont want 4 windows...Change to 1 row and 1 column when the table appears

 

If you want it coloured background..click on BACKGROUND and choose a colour

 

If you want a border..Click on BORDER..Click on a colour...and then change the width...5 is usually good

 

Then place your cursor inside and open it up with text...

 Use text in the same colour as the border  and /or a pic

Just keep trying...you'll get it...

Lets see what you can do...Let me know if I haven't explained it very well...lol

Can't get passed the first line in your instructions Liz.
Where is the "Table" icon?

When you open a 'reply' message you will see a toobox bar just above where you type the message.
 
Click on the table icon which is the white rectangle with a blue strip across the top.
 
When a window opens click on 'BACKGROUND' and the window will show a colour palette...
 
Click on the colour you like  and the INSERT TABLE and you should get something like this....
 
   
   
 
You can put your cursor inside one of the boxes and type some text...The box expands to te size of the text...
  You can type text in a box..... 
   
 
You can put a pic in another box as well..
  You can type text in a box.....
