To my knowledge I have never seen a virus that will 'attack through the preview pane in Outlook etc.

They require you to click on a link and thats when you will find you are in trouble...

Unless someone could inform me otherwise...Preview panes are safe.

There are so many viruses that you can get just by day to day surfing and you probably have no idea you have got them....

The greatest offenders are usually in the teen sites...Music downloads etc...so if you have a teen you can be pretty sure your pc is riddled with viruses, unless you run up to date anti virus...It is advised to run about 3 as they all catch different viruses...and Norton isnt necessarily the best and it certainly should be run alongside others like Adaware..BitDefender..AVG ,,Avast...etc.

You could be scared of getting the 'Hallmark' virus when you could have a subseven trojan or similar....already!

They can look through your webcam, even when its turned off....open your CD...in fact do everything on your pc that you can do....

Another common one is a "dialer'....They use your phone line to call 1-900 lines...so YOU pay and the telephone company makes you accountable.....You have to pay!

I have had both these viruses...they are very common...

Don't think anyone wants your info....?

Want them watching you (through the 'off' webcam?) while you go about your day to day life?

Just another 'warning'...

Nick...dont you just hate that snopes stoppped allowing copy/paste...lol
