hey people...I don't like to complain but....I really hate MSN and think this set up for the site is sorta "newbie"....I mean I have 3 memberships here on the site, 2 simply cause MSN passport bites, this 3rd account is simple from their lack of compatabilty with my OS.... I get spamed by them in my e-mail and if I ignore it problems with my account occure.... For this being the only USA NISSAN Patrol site I think it deserves a bit more quality than MSN and passport....matter of fact it has atracted worldwide attention....so I say we all do something and pitch in to help get a quality non spamming, non passported web site....I for one would chip in some cash. No offense to anyone, this site is definately the best MSN site I have been to.....yet I think we and the Patrol deserve a bit better... |

Thanks for your comments. I will be happy to simply SHUT THIS SITE DOWN. Then there will be no Nissan Patrol Club America site for you to complain about. This is a free site that allows all of us to input our knowledge. I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME to manage a Nissan Patrol Club site that would not be preformatted. Feel free to start your own club! -- Stephen F Smith Club founder, manager and webmaster |

Stephen....I think we have been over this before, as a club. I started the trhead a year ago because I was having problems with NetPassport...namely I had to make 2 new accounts to use the site. I think the other member has posted recently because he/she had the same problem. The site is low budget BUT we all use it, we all like it, we all approciate it! SO PLEASE JUST LEAVE IT BE and let the once a year POed member vent. One thing is for certian...there is no other Nissan Patrol site anywhere on the internet, any where in the world used this much by owners from the 1950's to 2004! Let's keep it this way.... Ian |

Thanks Ian. It's always nice to hear from you. I am glad that a member found your old thread, commented on it, and allowed this public discourse between us. Since you have started your own web site, you realize how much WORK it takes to run a site. I started the NPCA on another web service where I had to add and modify anything and everything that was sent to me. It was great when we had seventy members, but there is NO WAY I could handle the volume on this site. It would be more than a full time job for several people. There are over 1,500 pages here! The NPCA site practically runs itself, thank God. I am truly happy that you are starting your company and your web site. I think that, over time, you will serve the community very well. What you are doing is something that I could not do. I never dreamed that we would have almost 1,200 members at this little site, but I will provide the information conduit here at NPCA, and you can provide parts at RMP-O! |
