Gingerbread


Ingredients

 

Gingerbread

Serves 12

Ingredients
½ cup nonfat milk
2 teaspoons vinegar
1 large egg
1 cup flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ cup sugar
2 tablespoon molasses
1 ½ teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoon oil

Instructions
1. Mix milk and vinegar. Set aside.
2. Beat egg, then add sugar, molasses, ginger, cinnamon and oil and beat well.
3. Mix flour and baking soda with milk mixture. Add egg and sugar mixture and beat until smooth.
4. Pour batter into 8-inch square baking pan, sprayed with cooking spray.
5. Bake at 350° F for 25-30 minutes. Cut into 12 pieces.
