Jeanette was born and raised (for a good portion of her life) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Both of her parents were drill sergeants stationed in a base in Puerto Rico, where they gave birth to Jeanette. When Jeanette was sixteen, the family packed up and moved to Houston, Texas, where Jeanette was forced to give up something she'd just begun to love; boxing. By eighteen, Jeanette was ready to head out and see the world and she did. Saving up any money she had, she took a year off from college and hoped in the graduation present from her parents; a brand new escalade truck, grabbed a friend and the two of them took off going from city to city, state to state.. By the time they made it to New York, Jeanette knew she'd never see the inside of a college institution. Settling in New York, the duo began a "life" so-to-speak. Jeanette knew, at an early point in her life, that seeing the world and having the opportunity to live on the go was something she’d be more then happy doing, and so she began modeling. She first started with a few boutiques throughout the New York area, even heading to places like Los Angeles, Miami and Las Vegas to model for local and big named companies. And, though she never made a huge name for herself like Tyra banks and Heidi Klum had, she still managed to score a few trips to Paris and Italy, some of the fashion capitals in the world, for a few shows…even working with Victoria’s Secret. And, though she loved being able to walk down the runway and earn thousands of dollars just for her cat-walk dance, she knew that modeling was not what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. Back home, however, Carly, Jeanette's friend, got a job at a recording company and was a secretary for one of the hot shot producers, while Jeanette ?during times that she wasn’t away modeling -- put her training to good use and worked as a jiu jitsu and yoga instructor and private tutor. Soon, she found more love in doing that, then modeling and gave up her modeling stint to for see a future in competitive sports.

Her first stop was to check out UFC and she did, undergoing some exclusive and very intense training with one of UFC’s biggest stars, Tito Ortiz. It was threw Tito, that she met her second and probably most valuable trainer, Drew Stevenson and through Drew, was introduced to a brand new company called Combat Pro Wrestling. Being an instant fan of the new company, Jeanette saw something in CPW that she took an immediate interest in. The company signed Jeanette to a temporary deal, putting her in their new brand, a Superstar/Diva Showcase that would bring about some of the newest and hottest stars on the circuit. Of course, this quickly came to an end as the CPW Showcase never officially kick started which left Jeanette both, unemployed and unknown to the world. After submitting footage of herself working the Indy circuit, she finally received a call from The Asylum and went in for an interview. And instantly, she was signed to a full deal with TA, one that left both the starlet and the company extremely, extremely satisfied. During her time with The Asylum, she also managed to meet a third trainer and someone she’s probably closest to, Chandler Evers. Chandler, taken an immediate notice in her natural, God-given talents, took her jiu jitsu training, her boxing background and all that she already knew, and added in a more aerialistic, powerful and aggressive nature to her fighting style to give her the actual ‘wrestling?training. And, while undergoing the training with Chandler, she continued to work for TA day and night, being absolutely devoted to the company and in her debut match won herself a contendership at TA Uncensored for the TA Vixen's Championship against Mari Saito. However, as great a start as she was on, it was short-lived. A week prior to her huge, huge match, TA closed its doors for good, leaving Jeanette to fend for herself, taking up an offer laid out to her, by the fine folks over in WGEF. She knew this would be new grounds and had outstanding competition, and without hesitation, she took the offer.

After months of employment with the company, she was finally given the chance to use her contendership shot at the WGEF Women's Championship at King of the Ring against fellow female wrestler Sharmaine James. After beating Sharmaine and capturing her first taste of championship gold, Jeanette went on to be the latest female wrestler to pose for Hugh Heffner and Playboy magazine…only this time, she’d be one of the first to pose with her championship gold proudly on display, much to the pleasure of fans and wrestlers worldwide. And, though she continues her tour as a WGEF Diva, Playboy Covergirl and their current Women’s Champion, she knows that the future holds so much more for her then she could possibly imagine…it’s not long before the world sees Jeanette Salazar as a Hall of Famer and future World Champion!
