Mary Ann, I appreciate breeders that are as conscious as you! :) Unfortunately as WE all know not everyone is! James, since these dogs aren't common (although some people are trying for that) it should not be that hard to find the breeder. You can't take their dogs so, I go back to there really is nothing one can do but, be responsible for their dogs. Why would another breeder want the expenses involved in feeding, training and Vetting someone elses responsibilites? Not all breeders or show people are wealthy. Your kennel could be overwhelmed with these animals. I know that you have a fulltime job. Poor Cathy gets to capacity too as we know. Jo-Ann P.S. Hopefully this pattern will cycle thru and the dogs in rescue will be minimal. Putting the name RESCUE in front of a dog implies "problems" to many people I've talked to. Most ask why a rescue with their problems? WHY NOT? Jo-Ann |
