Would prefer slightly less square jaw and teensy bit slimmer or longer neck but otherwise BEAUTIFUL - love the chestnut sheen on the shoulders.

Hope can see more pictures from side view ................

Hey Tina !

Permission to repost Salaween side picture here!!

She looks better in this angle with feminine head side, nice shoulder but could be better more when mature,
straight upper arm and front paster, well pronounce in topline and underline, prefer more clearly defined between  loin and croup.
and don't like her mousse like tail.

Tail : The base of the tail should be broad (Thick at base),tapering uniformly down to the hock, carried vertically and slightly curved.

A: example of slightly curved

B: example of carried vertically

Do they carry their tail the same way whole the time??
Or only when they are "awake" ???

Hi Tina,
My Ginger's tale is slightly curved and she carries it that way 99% of time. It wags in an arc!
If she doesn't feel well, she carries it lower but always curved.

Meechi carries her tail slightly curved like a swird but she can wrap it round your finger like a monkey and fold and unfold it - sometimes when she is weeing she keeps it folded in half just over the ground then graduallyt unfolds it and sticks it out straight - sometimes she bends t round in a semicircle and she wags in any position at all - I find her tail endlessly amusing as the way she uses it is really like a monkey more than a dog.

Hey Tina !
No dog could carry his tail in the same way all the time, the position of the tail is depend on the dog emotion. The good way to view a well carry tail is when the dog are moving.
For your infomation:
There are 2 type of tail in TRD, the soft one and the hard one.
The soft one usually appear in short and thick tail, combined in a dog with substance.
The hard one usually appea in long and thin tail, combined with a dog who are little dry.

Please describe difference between dry/substance dog.
What do you mean?
I associate dry to a dog with less skin, not loose skin.
Substance, similar with power and strength??

Hi Tina! This is how I understand it (from english translated to swedish)
dry body - torr, senig kropp

substance versus dry body in horses;
hannover horse - desert arab

I cannot describe well with my English about your question, but I can give you only a example from my meaning: Can you see the difference between the American type Dane and The European type Dane. That's was I mean, no mass = dry body.

Coreect me if I'm wrong, or maybe someone can describe better ?
