Live natures were used, and this is a ILLum Rd for the 84mm Carl G. Note the 600g slab and the CE primer at the rear.
I had never seen one of these fired from a Carl G, and I wonder how effective they are, as it must be difficult to get the elevation for the rd to be effective. Over the years, I have seen many empty cannisters in the field, so they do get used. |
