Never lay your IW down in tall grass! Yip then came a Unimog, and ran over it. The lower F88 has a crack on the right side of the ejection port.
The rifle was returned to DNSDC Moorebank for rebuild action, and yes the Digger was charged.
Damage was confined to the plastic stock assembly, but that is still an expensive lesson. |
