The meeting. CHAPTER FOUR: PART ONE -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He entered the building and took a left just like he was told, left because there was no right. There was just one way into the room yet instructions were given, in proper detail, to the man who was coming to see her. There was nothing suspicious about the building at all. In fact, it looked like a regular hospital but with only one patient. The guard to his right, grabbed ahold of his arm in order to stop him before he could go any farther. "This way please." he said kindly before Kilo even had a chance to react to that. The guard pushed open a big door and motioned for him to get in. "Are you coming?" he asks but the guard just nods and begins to close the door. "Please don't give anything sharp to her." he requests and then shuts the door infront of Kilo. The first thing that catches his eye in the room are the numerous amounts of medical equipment on both sides. Of course, they're guarded with lasers that will set alarms off if physically touched by anything. To his farther right, there is a big shatterproof glass box located and as he approaches this box, he is able to see the woman. She is dressed in white today, a long robe probably made out of silk. It's been tied together as she wears nothing beneath it but a gold bracelet on her left thigh. A few bandaids are visible on her body due to minor injuries from last week but nothing too big. From afar, she looks like an angel trapped in a box. Perhaps it is only the color of clothing she wears that makes her angelic because as she lifts her head, her eyes give it all away. He puts both his hands on the glass and looks in directly at her. She smiles at once and approaches him. "You know why I'm here." he says in his same brash tone but she doesn't pay any heed to it. She simply places both her hands directly over the glass where his are located. "Who sent you here?" she says looking into his eyes with a coy smile on her face. From the inside, she can see the reflection of her green ones ontop of his deep brown ones. "I came here, on my own, to talk to you about our upcoming match in EPIC this week." Not a crack in his voice when he speaks. Wow, this guy isn't backing down. "Then why didn't you ask for me to be out? Perhaps a walk in the park would sufficed this little match talk or maybe we could of done it over dinner." "I felt as though this was the only option with you. You don't seem like a casual out going person to me." There is no change in his voice at all. He is sure not to reveal any of his vulnerabilities to her. "They do let me out, you know. This isn't prison for me, it's simply meant to make me better. I can't get out unless you request that. I'll let you touch my cunt, if you say yes." her face lights up with glee in order to convince him it's the best choice. "I need to know if you're going to co-operate with me this week or if I have to go out there and face those two on my own instead of wasting my time trying to convince you." Her smile has now disappeared and she wears quite the serious look on her face. "Hmm.." her voice is softer than his this time. "I see you've already made up your mind about me. Perhaps I should go congradulate Joshua Sickert and Clipse on their victory because Kilo has already accepted defeat. Did you not see yourself last week? They got the better of you and there was no one else to have your back. I saw it with my own two eyes as I was being escorted backstage. Yet here you are, Mister Independent, trying to take this all into your hands. You act as if this is your battle and not mine. Am I just that to this match? A mere spectator?" "I'll take that as a no." He immediately turns his back on her and begins to walk away. Looks like he wasn't wasting any time with this one. He knew what she was like, he'd seen the tapes. It was very hard to get on the good side of this one without her jerking you around and trying to ruin your life from the little box she was kept for show in. She bangs on the glass to get his attention at once. "Giving up just like that, are we?" she shouts this time. "I hope the two of them get the better of you!" He stops in his tracks at ocne and reverts back to his place near the glass box. "What is your problem? I'm not like your other victims, I won't fall for your bullshit. I know what you're capable of and I know what you make people believe you're capable of. You just love to mess with our minds, don't you? What's your deal with Sickert anyway? I want to win this match and I don't have time to play games with you when there are bigger things to take care of. I gave you an opportunity to tell me if you were interested in participating in this match and you took that time to put me down just like you do others. You love looking at people, don't you? You love to see what you can get out of them, their weaknesses, so you can use it to your advantage for your own sick pleasure. I never asked to be in this match with you but be glad I took the trouble of coming down here to talk to you." He stops to catch his breath and looks towards her for a response. She looks at him, her face emotionless but then she speaks louder than before. "Five minutes! All I asked for was five minutes!" she yells, her words are uttered so quickly that they almost strike fear in Kilo. But it is not fear that he feels, it's shock. He didn't expect her to act this way at all. "Get out of here. I need you to think about what you truly want from me before you enter my doors again. I'm giving you five minutes outside to come up with a better approach. Let's start fresh, shall we? Now, get out. Go! Now!" she shrieks making him rush out of the room without looking back. On the outside, he is met with the guard again. The old man doesn't even have to ask as he already knows. "Didn't go to well, huh?" he asks as Kilo rests against the doors. "Is she always like this?" The stressed out Kilo seems as though he's just been through a war. "To others? She's not nice to the new ones. A pyschiatric came to see her a week ago and just yeaterday we heard that she later hung herself after talking to Arachne." he pauses for a second to look Kilo in the eye and whispers. "She's never been that way with me though. I just mind my own business and ocassionally smile and nod when I go to give her food. I've talked to her a few times, she's a sweet girl." Some would imagine he was speaking with sarcasm but surprisingly, it was the truth. "You'll be okay." says the old guard. "You seem like a nice man." The guard smiles and then leaves Kilo to take a quick breath. He pushes the door open and enters the room once again. This time he doesn't bother looking around and cuts right to the chase. "Joshua Sickert.." he says making her jump out of her skin as soon as she hears him. Clearly, she never expected him to return at all. "What do you think of him?" She smirks and stands up to address him like before. "He's not exactly a favourite of mine and you don't seem to be too fond of him either. As you had stated last week, and I quote your exact words, you wanted to knock his pearly whites down his throat." she cocks an eyebrow. "I, for one, would love to swallow his pearly whites as well but then I'd want a bite of where they came from." Kilo looks perplexed for a second at the perverted Arachne but she simply rolls her eyes. "I'm talking about his big yapper. I'm sure a lot of people would be pleased to know he can't use that for a while once I'm done with him. Although, he isn't too shabby looking either so don't just count me out for the latter yet." "Sickert has another 'friend' of his that he decided to bring to the company as well." "Ahh, the poor soul who dared to throw me out of that ring. Perhaps I should send him a pie, he did save a lot of people's skin." "A pie?" Kilo arches an eyebrow. "Can you add rat poison to it?" Arachne just laughs and takes a deep breath. She changes the subject, this time, to her new found partner in crime. "So what made you change your mind?" "I heard you killed a woman using just your mind. Maybe if it's possible, you could do that with our friends Joshua Sickert and Cain Clipse." "Perhaps." she responds with her signature smirk. "Tell you what. When you get into this building next time, turn right and I'll be there, no glass." He stares at her quizically and explains. "But there's just a big wall when you turn right." "There is a door, a secret door." o0o0o interesting. "Push the wall as soon as you enter two steps into the place, there is a room and I'll be in it." "Alright." he nods. "Well, I'll see you there next time." He is about to leave but she calls out his name for the first time. "Kilo." He turns around to look at her. "Make sure you let no one know of this door." TBC.. |
