I don't care what anyone says about this but I was so happy when I saw Kate in the shower and my jaw dropped when he asked her to marry him. CALL ME A TEENTARD all you want (I'm 19 anyways) but I was so happy these two BANGED each other after so long. FFS you just knew they wanted each other from the moment they met and it took them 4 fucking years just to do it. Jack is my favorite character and Kate comes in second so I was soooooo happy. I love Jack and Kate and I hope that in the series finale they end up getting married and live happily ever after.

Yes, they are the main characters of the show.. apparently. But this was a FLASH FORWARD.
NO, THE SHOW WILL NOT END SOON BUT IN A COUPLE OF YEARS.
We're teetering on the edge of season 4. There's two more seasons of LOST to go and I assume the next season will either be out by the end of this year or somewhere around next year.
 
And I catch the show on CTV, which for you folks in the U.S is ABC.

like i say it will be off sooner than that lol
any prime time show in which the main characters finally knocked the boots...ended earlier because of two things
the writers couldn't come up with anything creative to keep it going
people lost intrest because they already gotten together
 
even if they already did taped the next two seasons if the storyline around them sucks it will be on tnt or tbs or maybe on abcfamily after dark hour

YOU DON'T GET MY POINT AT ALL.
The relationship between these two is ONE ASPECT of the show. Most people don't watch this show for Jack and Kate or any other shipper stuff although some, like me, enjoy that aspect as well as it shows the heart of the character.
 
Lost is about MUCH LARGER issues that millions of people all over the world tune in every week to watch and there are plenty of other characters that each person prefers. The main focus of the show is how they're going to get off the island, about the island and each episode features flashbacks, which allow us to delve into each character and learn their significance on the island. But things changed in the last episode of Season 3 where the show featured Flashforwards showing the characters OFF the island, what their future is like and what the consequences are for those who got off the island. For example, we know Jack, Kate, Sayid, Hurley, Sun and Jin are the "Oceanic 6", the survivors (according to the public), of the plane crash that happened in the pilot. And then we see one of the characters die and Jack's life become a mess. The farthest flash forward we know of is Jack wanting to go back to the island and this season explains the events leading up to his decision. So Season 5 may feature them going back to the island, yada yada, we'll find out soon.
 
The show will DEFINITELY continue to be a success because it garners attention from people each day and gains new fans. It will NEVER suck and go off the air before it's time because it's one of the best shows ever been made and is able to cater to anyone with a brain. This isn't like "any other show" and everyone who's watch this show is still watching because we all want to see what happens, solve that which is unclear to us. It's a show you CANNOT stop watching because it literally captures your attention and keeps it until the very fucking end.

those are very BAD people. Those are called The Others. They were on the island before the guys from Oceanic Flight crash landed. For some odd reason, The Others are able to go back and forth from the island to the real world in a submarine which was destroyed by Locke who in the real world was paralyzed from the waist down because his father pushed him from an upstairs window because Locke came to him wondering why he had left him when he gave him his left kidney.
 
Side bar, Locke's father had an affair with Sawyer's mother and on the island, Sawyer finally killed him.
 
Claire and Jack Shepard are somewhat related.
 
Desmond had a back to the future moment [loved that episode]
 
Walt still has supernatural powers
 
see, not all the show is about Jate.

You're an idiot, man. That's all I have to say to that one. Don't take it as an insult or anything but I'm sure J.J, Damon and Jeff don't give a shit if you like their show or not. The show would be too complex for you to fathom anyways. I created this topic for those who watch lost. *Slaps hands with Ernie and Martie*, so I'm just going to ignore all the negative shit you have to say about a show you never even watched.
